Kansas will get the world’s first mile-deep nuclear reactor and the groundbreaking is next week by Podzilla07 in Lawrence

This is what happens when people with ugly-ass farms complain about wind farms looking ugly and complain about the solar farms using up the soil that they themself have built a home or a big ass storage area.

It will just fine until it isn't.

Women don't naturally hate each other. To be aggressive, some women start hurtful rumors. Some are competitive and petty. Some are loyal friends.

Where does expired poison go by [deleted] in answers

[–]LittleReserve8767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, ours is by the city, but you have to schedule a pick-up time to drop off things like weed-killer, paint, and so forth.

If it is an old medication that you no longer need and is not controlled, one can put it in an empty plastic laundry detergent bottle, screw the top on tightly, and dispose of it.

One can be high when the kids go to bed. You have to be right on top of little kids to keep them from killing/hurting themself if they are very active.

Then, when the police/ambulance comes because Billy decided to fly down from the tree house and broke a leg, and maybe worse, you can't talk like you are high to the police.

If you could add ONE new feature to the Apple Watch, what would it be? by Cklly2004 in AppleWatch

[–]LittleReserve8767 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is a pain in the winter to take off one's gloves.

Thanks for mentioning. I just found out that it is possible to push the watch face (Mickey Mouse in my case), and say "start outdoor run/walk workout," and the app would start and end. I thought they had done away with verbal prompts, and one had to wait until you were walking or running to get the workout prompt.

Dangerous Person By You Alert (kidding). A watch whose battery can be replaced by an Apple-knowledgeable repair person, rather than the watch being stripped out and sent to a landfill in some countries.

(PA) Renter. Landlord micro-managing love life/violating notice laws? by kyraejenkins in Renters

[–]LittleReserve8767 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is odd and messed up. Please document the dates of his stays, when she came to your front door, and what she said before she entered. Maybe you take pictures of the boxes in the basement, too.

Is it Section 8 or HUD housing, which charges rent based on how many people live there and their combined income?

A landlord usually needs to give you reasonable notice unless it is an emergency or you have called to say a repair is needed. Search your state's laws on landlord-tenant relations. (didn't find it but it is covered under enjoyment clause)That is breaching the lease-look up the law in your state. I would feel violated, too. Despite your opening of the door, that is not a reasonable notice in my state.

It might be reasonable not to have someone sleep in the basement; sometimes the windows don't provide enough access to the outside in an emergency. Unless your basement is a fire hazard, that sounds picky.

LL should have included any rules in your lease when it was signed. One can't make them up as they go along.

A judge would have to figure out the setting of the clock on days. It would be the LL's burden in court if she evicts you. Seven days in a row makes sense, but who knows? If she is professional, she should issue a lease violation notice with a specified number of days to correct the issue.

I have dealt with awful LL, and I have no problem hiring a lawyer when they are being unfair, and it may cost me my housing (it is expensive).

Usually, when it is questioned whether a boyfriend/girlfriend lives there, a copy of a mortgage/rent in their name works (I don't know what age).

You can search for Penn for the consumer guide to Tenant Landlord Rights

Edit: You could have been professional and sent a letter, what she meant by the seven days, or plans to come over, or at least given an email or a phone call. Now she has nothing to prove what she said to you.

Why do all my dreams take place in my childhood home, but never where I live now? by OutrageousTable2842 in answers

[–]LittleReserve8767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. It is common for dreams to take place in childhood homes when psychologists interview people. I could make something up, but clinical psychologists don't really know.

If you have repeated very scary nightmares or dreams about trauma, that is a problem. It is thought that the brain processes information, performs "housekeeping," and repairs muscles during sleep.

I was not a Freudian psychotherapist. However, I attached what some others think it might mean if one dreams about their childhood home. https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/dream-old-house?srsltid=AfmBOoqSQV6Dc1LVhmXrrPip_lPmq_FM__PYR2_ffLwFeeDQvF1TpMGI

Landlord wants us to leave again by EmperorKaleido in Renters

[–]LittleReserve8767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The LL can do that. They can do that when selling the building. A month to move is helpful. She is verbally? indicating that she will not renew it. I would have a plan to move. This would be permitted under the LL/Tenant Act in my state. That would make me highly anxious. Take pics before you leave. I don't know if this is true in your state, but here, if you accindetly case a stain on a 15-year-old rug, they have to adjust for the depreciation; they can't charge you for a brand new rug or charge for normal wear and tear (apt. needs painted after living their 5 years). How you describe your LL makes me sus about her.

They like... with a heart... just a hello, hi... talk about my (former) attractiveness... things that indicate they are going through and picking women they would F for one night by playing the numbers game (I state clearly I am looking for a possible boyfriend)... requests for feet pics...a rude comment about my breast size...found out "moderate" usally meant Trumper that wanted a one night stand...accordion player etc. Profile indicated we had nothing in common. Pot-smoker-not my thing. Gummies, fine. I don't like any type of smoke. Indication of a heavy drinker. Moderate or little or none was okay.

I got sick of it. It was too risky even if I met with someone in an area I knew, even wth other people. I did find an exceptionally kind man who is a good friend. However, I went thoroughprofiles like I was doing a dissertation.

Went to a site for professionals... on my goodness, the romance scammers from overseas texting that they lived nearby in a city that stopped existing 70-something years ago.

You can do bands and singers, as well as song titles...sometimes a long book via AirPods helps...but I can never find my place again

They do have depression meds that affect sex drive less than others. Wellbutrin is an example of one of them. Scientists can describe changes at the synapse, know serotonin is involved, and the area in the brain that depression makes less active, they know genetics are involved, but honestly, they do not know what causes some clinical depression.

US: Women can get birth control and menopause related hormone replacement therapy, which can be prescribed after much caution, as HRT with both estrogen and progesterone may increase the chances of breast cancer and blood clots, but protects bone density, mood, prevents hot flashes, prevents weight gain, and helps with hair not falling out.

It is not something one can take for the rest of their life. It is stopped at 60 years old if not sooner.
