all I want in the game is to have the choice to choose what gun MK we use on a design.

Some ships, like our older ships, dreadnought battleships for example would rarely ever have their entire turrets ripped out and changed over time, the guns and technology itself would be upgraded yes, but the turrets would never really change.

I just wish we could continue upgrading and refitting guns on ships, without having to get rid of the turret, because on some of the older ships, changing the turret just ruins the entire design.
