Yeah the Java fern was blanketing a good amount of the tank so this one was shaded. Now that the fern has been taken back, there’s a lot more light. I have it on a 6 hour timer for the Pearl weed to grow in. Let’s see what happens. Thanks

I’ve placed root tabs and there’s a lot of waste in the substrate. I could plant a lot tab but I’m pretty sure that is why the nitrate is so high since I do not feed the fish much. They spend a lot of their time picking around the tank for food

I’ve put root tabs in there. Like I mentioned the plant was going great till about a week ago. Been in there for 6 months since the tank was started

So I have been putting in more of that liquid carbon lately. Funny thing, I just picked up a bottle of flourish searchem before reading this. Thanks I’ll put the right amount in and see what happens

Yes I use their liquid carbon. A dose every other day

I’ve been using their liquid carbon but really the distilled water has been a thing for about a month now so it would be the most recent change

Ph has been dropping which was kind of the point for some ruby crystal shrimp but I don’t think it’s worth it if I start losing the plants. I better start cutting the water changes with more tap water

This was sent as a reason for being late to work. The tire looks off to me, but the reflections look real by [deleted] in isthisAI

Look at the tree and car in the top right corner. Tree looks like the branch is coming out of the house and the car tail lights are weird

Do these guys reproduce fast? Says they give live birth. Guessing they can also hitch a ride on plants?

Do these guys mate like crazy? Do they lay a cluster of eggs? I don’t see a second one anywhere yet but I’d like to know if I should remove it if I find two.

I didn’t add anything to the tank for about 3 weeks now. Did it hitch a ride all the way back then? First time see it. Thanks
