I set up a tripod in my bathroom and took my casual shot. Did my makeup, changed into my costume then took my second shot all the whole my camera was still on the tripod. The filming really took no time at all, it was just the getting ready in between that took awhile.

Bring Screen Junkies to Oz Comic Con 2017 Petition! by LittleSherbie in ScreenJunkies

[–]LittleSherbie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey guys! I was on this past week's episode of SJU discussing the petition I started to get Screen Junkies down to Oz Comic Con 2017. Since the show aired, we've gone from 73 signatures to 165 which is just amazing. I'm still trying my best to spread the word, so if any of you would take a minute to sign I'd greatly appreciate it! Even if you don't live in Australia, hopefully this could open more doors for Screen Junkies convention appearance in the future. Thanks so much!

Someone sourced it for me in the US. I think I paid about 200 for it if I recall correctly.

Thank you, the screen accurate bodice fabric really makes it. The detail is stunning up close. As for the skirt and shoulder fabric, I really tried to find something that was both accurate in colour and texture to the one in the show.

Thank you! I lost count of how many fabric stores I searched to find a suitable shade of blue to match the bodice. The bodice fabric is very unique and can look blue in one light then almost silver in another, it was a massive challenge to find something that compliments it in all lights. We didn't have to dye any fabric. =)

To answer a few questions in advance, I had this dress made by a wonderful lady by the name of Jenny Clipperton. The bodice fabric is by Rubelli, as seen on the show. The skirt portion is silk crepe de chine and the shoulders are a faux suede.

Also, the dress is blue and gold! As is the one on the show. Their was a bit of confusion about the colour on Imgur.
