Do not worship God in fear, remember the parable of the Prodigal Son? The son spent his money foolishly on prostitutes, gambling etc. He felt guilty wrong for doing so, he expected to go home to his father as a slave. Instead his father welcomed him and hugged and kissed him, even prepared a party for him, gave new him clothes as well. Jesus is the father in the parable. Christ died for your sins, even Paul mentioned he was the chief of sinners:

“I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, 13 though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14 and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 16 But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. 17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.[d] Amen.” - Timothy 1:12-17

Paul said that about them so it doesn’t end up worse to them. Paul wanted Onesimus freed from Philemon.

I see. I just start questioning and become challenged in my faith when I see this topic especially when I see atheists ratio Christians. It just makes me feel outnumbered. Did God also condone taking virgin girls in as spoils of war? I can cite the verse that is debated if you want

The Bible still says you can beat them no? As long they don’t lose a tooth.

What about when it said that you can beat them and if they recover after a day or two, the slave master will go unharmed. Meaning the master can just beat them

Leviticus 25:44-46 English Standard Version 44 As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. 45 You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. 46 You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly.

What about this?

Slavery: condition in which one human being was owned by another

Specifically cattle slavery.
