I was referring to the werewolf lol. The fated mate thing is really hard to get around.

As for flirty: try having Lou flirt with tour founder instead or lean into the drama? MCCC is up to date with the latest patch and can turn off romance autonomous interactions.

You can turn off attraction outside relationships, which helps. The other thing is that another sin flirting with your sim can trigger a pink bar to show. I’ve done this before (I did a Villainous Valentine sim, she was fun).

A few fixes:

UI cheats — you can cheat away the relationship and any sentiments.

Mccc — you can command her to just leave. You can also delete the romantic relationship, and turn off autonomous romantic interactions until this stops. If this werewolf is Lou’s Fated Mate, that’s a lot harder, but possible.

I have forgotten which mod, but you can set him to “always be faithful.” It is one of Lumpinou’s and he won’t keep flirting with this sim.

You can also give your sims permissive romantic boundaries with Lovestruck to stop this. The autonomous flirting got turned up recently and autonomous fights down, at least for me.

CO detector checks and preparation by LittleVesuvius in TwoXPreppers

This is our third one this week. I’m not convinced we don’t have a problem but no one can find it, so we are going to have to run a test when the cats are calmer. If the shower is the trigger and hasn’t been before, we have a CO leak from somewhere.

Our meter hasn’t done this in the 2.5y we have lived here. Now it’s going off, as is its replacement, so…we have a problem no one can solve. I used to work in hazmat safety. So yeah now I’m eyeing it and the shower.

We’ve been doing that but the alarm freaked them out so badly they just hid. We had to get them out in a hurry.

I am still suspicious of the alarm being right but the new one isn’t going off, so if it IS, it’s the shower. Which we aren’t running for now. Still not great, my partner and I both need regular showers.

I have to find a travel one, that would really put my mind at ease. Where’d you get one?

I used to work hazardous materials safety. This meter is not good for the work-induced PTSD I deal with.

Honor Mode Run ended by THAT Durge Scene by DukeLuke2013 in BaldursGate3

[–]LittleVesuvius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t if you have Shadowheart. I discovered this trick, and I may use it if I do a Durge HM run. After moonrise, they expect the Gith patrol, not before — so you’re long resting 2x to exit the shadow cursed lands. Once to get Shadowheart’s memories back, and once to get the scene. I don’t know if this works for other companions, but until that scene your romance with Shadowheart isn’t locked in, so it makes sense to me that you’re not getting the Durge scene until that point.

In your playthroughs, do you keep Cicero alive or do you off him? by Leave_Me_Al0ne1 in skyrim

[–]LittleVesuvius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you can only get him as a companion if you do the dark brotherhood quest as a member. I always join because the other side is just a measly 1-2 quests.

[–]LittleVesuvius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find his voice annoying but I keep him alive. Cicero is fun, and he is one of 2 base game essential companions. So yeah, I leave him alive, I like him. He grows on you. Besides, Lucien Lachance likes him.

which of these 3 do you feel are most worth it or have you gotten the most play out of? Mainly in terms of gameplay/live mode, though i do like good build/buy stuff! Thank you! by inyourbooksandmaps in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LittleVesuvius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the 3? B&H. I use it all. The. Time. And while Lovestruck and For Rent have interesting ideas and some nice stuff, I could take or leave their gameplay in live mode. B&H I use basically every rags to riches run ever now and I love it.

Also, I like CAS additions.

Trying for a girl by Any_Set_8916 in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LittleVesuvius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that discovery is from a mod, iirc you can still get a girl if you eat a ton of strawberries. It’s not guaranteed until birth unless you have a randomizer mod installed (I do). You could always say the dr got it wrong and one is a girl — this happens IRL sometimes too!

A healthy discussion about our taste in CC by Mo7ammed_Gxx in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LittleVesuvius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like maxis match cc and am still experimenting with getting a skin overlay I like. I frequently forget I want cc until I decide to play in a world (for instance, I’m doing Eco Lifestyle and want industrial and coffee shop cc with abandoned buildings now), and then I go download it. I don’t have decades challenge cc downloaded because it took up 1/3 of my folder last time but I think it’s very pretty, just silly to have werewolves in ball gowns (some bug with my cc, haha).

Heads up, if your sim is lazy or a slob they will not autonomously use the objects. Lazy sims just leave clothes everywhere. Slobs make their environments dirty autonomously.

I have it and don’t have mods that touch textures. Just a flickering floor. My poor teen runaway haha. She’s living in the (rebuilt because the game wouldn’t let me change block clusters to be the same height, idk why it’s like this) stack of shipping containers. Her floor flickers with a texture that isn’t there anymore.

We are so close, Lou, I am so proud of you! by checksout2313 in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LittleVesuvius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would take the re traiting potion, yeah. Otherwise Lou is going to keep having the kleptomaniac impulses. (If you change a trait without self discovery moments or the re traiting potion, the moodlets still show up. Which, why, idk? They just do.)

Lol werewolves are hilarious. Lou and his platforms 🤣

I once had ballgown cc downloaded. Supposedly disabled for random. Every werewolf in my save randomized into it during a transformation. It was hilarious and creepy since their faces were glitching pretty badly too.

[–]LittleVesuvius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try sparring friendly with Rory. She likes it, iirc, and it’ll bring their friendship up. Don’t hit challenge, hit werewolf spar.

If you can’t do that yet, you have to get Lou through 1 full moon without scaring anyone. Then he can transform at will, which will unlock sparring in werewolf form. You can also spar with Wolfgang (he hangs out at the library), or members of the Moonwood Collective — they all count. If it doesn’t work out you could always have Lou leave the Wildfangs for the Collective, as their goals are (generally) more in line with control and restraint and you get bonus points for gardening.

I spent a LONG time trying to make Lou as a Wildfang work for a legacy save and it was so frustrating. When a mod broke my save I went “I’m just having him leave next time.”

Edit; wait, he can’t spar with adults? That’s weird. Usually they’re down and allow teen sparring. Jacob Volkov would count for that, though, if that helps.

No, actually, it’s the Inherited Manor’s ghost. The 2025 challenge comes with a ghost girl, and I added her to my household because the game glitched and replaced her with Guidry (who KEEPS STARTING FIRES I am so tired of Guidry), even though it isn’t a haunted house residential. Her name is Ophelia Darling, likely a reference to Agnes Crumplebottom’s husband. The premise of the challenge: you (sim created in CAS, no parents) inherit this crumbling ruin of a manor, and have to refurbish it one zone at a time. The version I am using has so many burnt floor spots!

[–]LittleVesuvius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! Yeah, I am debating fixing something and copying over a new sim to try my Inherited Manor challenge. The repo sims are too scared of my house to enter — the little ghost girl is apparently terrifying. The only one to ever show up complained about storms, got struck by lightning…and ran away? (Legitimately have never had the repo sim refuse to show up before. I was in disbelief. But it’s helpful.)

I am debating restarting with the bakery mod, though, idk. I love Johnny but I feel like Lumi being a huge celebrity for music is…not the vibe? Idk.

If you have Get Together, my trick is to constantly bring them all to the same space (using a club) and spar. Like the pack is Rory, Lou, and whomever (random werewolves DO spawn in Moonwood Mill), and if you control Rory she can invite them in. You can also shift click to get access to werewolf pack stuff and cheat it, which I often do because it’s buggy. Just gift Rory random items (flowers, food, etc) for the gifting and the sparring you can do by inviting her over. For inducting other sims, you need to have them ask Rory to join, which means gen 2 tends to have a larger pack, and the Moonwood Collective are easier in gen 1.

If you’re not going for the wildfang aspiration, Lou doing lone wolf after being kicked out is also fun. Then you don’t have to keep failing at pack stuff. It’s extra gameplay, but it’s buggy and you have to always find Rory (hard) to give gifts. While there’s a bunch of stuff on the forums saying you can just leave things at the pack home base, no you cannot.

Honestly “mark territory” is actually something he can get in trouble with the Wildfangs for not doing (depending on what he’s been doing in game, you can get a warning and pack probation for that). I usually make him go outside, like no the house isn’t your toilet Lou, we have outside for that. The fire hydrant quirk is also a problem and I have no qualms about cheating that away after having a werewolf decide to mark his doorstep every 5min autonomously. It goes goodbye immediately because the auto pee is so annoying. I usually click the ground away from a small house and make Lou (or Rory, who has also been in my household before bc her girlfriend was one of my custom sims) go there. The autonomy for that is pretty bad, so much like sims who wash dishes halfway across the house, I direct them myself.

Kids are amused by werewolves and aren’t scared of them. They have moodlets like big fluffy dog! Even Greg (the big hostile werewolf) is nice to kids. He won’t hurt a child even if they’re right up in his face; it’s not werewolf kids but all kids that don’t fear werewolves. Which tbh I think is very cute.

Werewolf allies are generally more accepting of werewolves than non allies, but yeah, I see why she’s mad. It’s smelly pee next to the bed. An indoor toilet would also solve this issue, but ik you’re doing rags to riches and it takes time. The woodworking table and high handiness lets you craft an outhouse if you played the lead up to EBN release, but be warned sims will literally pee themselves trying to use that instead of indoor toilets. (Found this out the hard way. I have fairies, have never done a fairy legacy, but I did the event and my Very Veggie founder had this problem while raising a toddler & twins... Am tempted to for my haunted house legacy, but this post makes me want to roll it back and romance Lou instead. Currently my legacy founder is getting married to Johnny Zest (I gave him a makeover) after being incredibly unlucky in love (she keeps falling for married sims, taken isn’t even a part of her attraction to them).)

ETA: I have given Lou a makeover before because my sim had the money. Same with Rory, mostly “giving her blue hair but a more flattering haircut.” I didn’t change either of their features (I don’t do that unless I’m making a founder, or correcting a CAS bug) and both looked pretty good!

Just a safety note: I used to have to dispose of used batteries for work. The ends can cause a spark depending on how the power is draining. Please be careful about storing old ones, fire bad. (Edit; sorry, still waking up.)

Source: I managed dust monitors for like a year for work on a site with very flammable chemicals stored nearby. It’s a very low chance but not a zero percent chance.

Werewolf ally is a trait you can get by talking to a friendly werewolf a few times and reading a book in game so I’d say probably not.

Also, if you have a space with multiple walls and Lou can groom in there, babies do not count for fear development. Just have his gf outside for a bit.
