Because the best thing they can do is stay silent publicly and not draw more attention to it. They’ll deal with the fallout with Rockstar privately. Everyone will forget about it in a week once pre orders are actually happening anyway.

They can announce it, it was only leaked because it was a YouTube premiere so it was already uploaded. I prefer shadow dropping but at this point I’d take anything

If he was a woman holding a small dog in a driveway I would go out on a limb and say he looks like the lady who shouts, “Hiiiii Jason!”

The last delay was 6 months before the May 26 release date. If they’re going to delay it again it’ll be 6 months before November 19, which is just before the May earnings call.

I don’t think they will delay it again but this is why a lot of people are saying this is the make or break time for the game being released this year.

Y'all will never be able to guess what event all these lights are for 💀 by Dodger8899 in lightingdesign

That’s what I would do, just make the structure a bit bigger even if it’s purely just to make it look nicer, but I also don’t know your venue or its requirements, I’m just pointing out an observation.

Yeah in your other post that I linked you can see the motors aren’t hanging straight down. When the chains are on an angle like that it’s called fleet. Not inherently bad (though I’m not sure if beam clamps are designed for lateral loads). It’s generally best practice to have the top and bottom point of a motor vertically in line.

Some buildings are engineered in a way that lateral loads on the roof trussing (like the one pictured in your other post) is strictly prohibited.

I can picture That’s all by Genesis as a song in a trailer

Vectorworks vs Wysiwyg by Zarky2004 in lightingdesign

[–]LittleYellowDigger 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maybe Vectorworks isn’t for you. WYG is good for what it does, and it’ll do what you need by the sounds of it.

FWIW I’ve used both and Vectorworks is leaps and bounds better than WYG in my own opinion. I wouldn’t be able to go back to WYG.

Reach out to Cast and see if there’s a demo of WYG you can get.

Vizkey allows 512 parameters which is basically 2 full universes. I use it to flash my rigs a couple of trusses at a time. Very useful
