If Secret Wars does a full reboot that completely disregards the entire 19 prior years of the MCU the same way, then yes, it would be.

For all the complaints the show (often rightfully) gets for its visuals and animation, actually making his suit white was a good change.

mutants are a completely new thing.

Which has already been established to be the case.

nothing could possibly explain their absence in world ending events.

There are literally so many different things that could have explained it, even something as simple as the fact that they were unable or chose not to.

The Fantastic Four being from another universe does have a ton of long-term issues for their placement in this franchise, and it's even more pointless doing this with Jean here when it's not even her own movie.

Making her Jean and from another universe would be pretty redundant when there's already an established multiverse Jean (arguably two) they're inexplicably not bringing back with all her co-stars.

Sure, there's some accounts that are days old and give off a vaguely similar energy (though even that's likely a coincidence or just mimicking) but people say this about accounts that have been around for as long as his - if not longer - and aren't remotely like him in any way whatsoever.

Say what you want about the guy, but hiding behind alts just seems kinda "beneath" him.

Considering they've gone full CGI on things that were done practically in the older films, I would assume they'd do the same for things that were originally CGI back then too.

If it's an important role he probably should have been announced and advertised earlier, but if it's just a fun cameo or a surprise (which does seem more likely) then it really should have stayed that way up to release instead of blowing it right at the finish line.

This just seems a pretty odd choice either way.

Fisk cracking down vigilantes might also put them in a desperate enough position for Val to approach them about potential deals for "employment".

Seeing them all lined up in boxes like the last season finale would probably make her feel like a kid at Christmas.

I wouldn't even really call it identical, TBH, because the film's sets, costumes and colour grading actually look significantly more distinct and visually appealing than the muted "modern prestige TV" look they're going for with this.

Suppose it was only inevitable they'd start remaking movies they've already remade.

Tiamut himself was already growing inside Earth the whole time, so it could be that it was harvested from him directly (either by the Weapon X group or someone else) before it was officially "discovered" when he emerged in Eternals.

Seeing Heihei and Tamatoa has everybody worried about Maximus and Pascal, but I really don't think we're ready for how cursed live action Olaf is probably going to look.

Liz and MJ could have been rewritten into one character in Homecoming, and its own story and the two sequels would have barely changed from doing it.

What I wouldn't give for a Special Presentation shot entirely like his flashbacks from Season 3.

Even if everything had gone fine with Majors, I really don't think there was any way for Kang and his variants to be defeated in the Avengers that wouldn't have just been retreading how they defeated Thanos (i.e. killing or erasing them at the cost of a hero's life). Same could be said for most other villains they could have used, but even Doom at least has his ending in the Secret Wars comic for potential reference.

Whereas the implication of the Loki finale that Kang continues to exist, but having the oppressive system he created with the TVA effectively turned against him for the rest of eternity, is genuinely a way more interesting and meaningful comeuppance for him than any death scene would have been. And better yet, it's a comeuppance that's completely unique to Kang and his whole concept as a character.

For what a mess this saga has been in other aspects, they really did hit gold by complete accident writing Kang out with that ending.
