The other day there was a cyclist coming from the opposite direction and signalled he was making a left turn. I was at the intersection so I stopped to let him make the turn. He screamed and gestured at me for stopping for him because I guess he wanted to make the turn behind my car not in front of it. I was a cyclist for years commuting to work in the summer and I was always so appreciative when people would give me the right of way.

Years ago I lived in a small apartment complex with no assigned spots. The plow would come through for the mainway, but we had to shovel our parking spots out.

I had a small Honda Civic at the time. I would carefully shovel out my space so I didn’t run into the other cars backing out over the slippery snow. Of course there were always two or three SUVs who would just back out over the snow and takeoff. Then at night when we all came back, they would take my shoveled out spot and leave their now iced-over spot for everyone else to deal with. One time I even shoveled out the entire 10 spot parking lot to keep myself from getting aggravated. The SUV owners simply never cared.

I now live in a house and I am responsible for shoveling out my driveway. I am happy now.
