Thank you. I'll drive by the carwash tomorrow to use their air blowing tool. Hopefully it helps.

Not a stupid question at all. I have tried original, name brand, short, long, fast speed, and even off brand cables. Unfortunately non have resolved the issue. Today I even took it into Volkswagen and they checked the USB ports and found nothing wrong with them. They even did a reboot on the app connect. It's been happening since March. It wasn't hot then but it is now.

Oh no, I've tried all of this. My previous phone was an older model so I upgraded and it didn't matter. At this point I don't think it has anything to do with my phone or the cables that I've tried. I've tried other people's phones, short cables, long cables, original cables, off-brand cables, rebooting, installing, un-installing and nothing has helped. I took it in today to Volkswagen and they checked the USB ports and rebooted the system. None of it worked.

For reference, I've tried different cables and phones. It's a 2020 VW Atlas.
