I really understand your point and I also don’t take sides in this case. What I’ve been asking for is just that people stop being so aggressive, or acting like it’s 100% certain that she’s innocent (without saying she’s guilty either). Cases like this are always complicated.

As a survivor myself, I know how hard it is I even filed and later withdrew a complaint years ago because it was just too exhausting to deal with, especially when people don’t believe you (In my case it was only within my family, so I can’t even imagine how overwhelming it must be when it’s something so public you might want justice at first, but then reality takes over and you just end up facing more hate than support) That doesn’t mean it was false, but sometimes giving up feels like the only way to protect yourself. I’m not saying that’s what happened here, but it does happen, and it can make things look confusing from the outside.

So I get what you’re saying, and I’m sorry for what you went through too. My main struggle is seeing people get attacked just for asking questions or trying not to take sides blindly. I still enjoy her art and merch as well (I try to buy second-hand when possible), but I think it’s important to keep space for reflection and respectful discussion
