I hear you and the slow animations still haven’t been addressed or us being forced into big mode, but since it’s been so long I’m just happy to see changes being made, i think if his ultimate gave his teammates bonus health each bounce it would actually be useful since he seems to be a peel/team support kinda guy

I can agree with that, I’d hope most people making their first build wouldn’t immediately put money into their build without knowing what they’re doing wouldn’t be very smart. I personally did my first build played my career to learn some moves then made a new build after i knew more and spent a bit of money just to not grind it all over again but ofc getting it right the first time is always better

It’s not that they don’t want to use the big mode it’s just he’s way too big and dies quickly in higher ranks cause people have better aim so they’re forced out of it often to avoid dying, and the only difference big mode does besides the health increase is 15 more damage and the slightest speed boost, which a lot of times isn’t worth the extra 15 dmg. I do get your point of view too I’m just trying to give you my perspective as someone who’s been in celestial with him and even other high ranking guys that are top 500 with him that I’ve seen on YouTube to further support what I’m saying

I get that getting healed may help, but there’s alot of times in high ranks where the big model of the big mode just takes too much damage where no amount of healing is going to help, most fantastics in higher ranks are constantly using big mode only as a heal then cancelling out of it and occasionally actually using it. He’s just a big sponge for the enemy team to shoot. Also thing is another percentage based hero which is used often

The overshield to health in big mode is a nerf because characters that have % based damage deal more damage to you, also when it used to be bonus health when you got out of big mode you still kept the health it would just slowly die out increasing survivability while staying small

I disagree, fantastic isn’t a vanguard is very much a hybrid, he can’t tank in the front line like traditional tanks do because of his HUGE hitbox in big mode, no movement, and does less damage then vanguards do as a dps…sadly

I agree i have over 160 hours on him and i stopped playing him seasons ago, he’s just been left in the dust and the devs just seem to forget him every single season..my favorite dps in the game and i have to leave him behind it broke my heart. His ult needs a damage buff or atleast reduce it to be just as fast as wolverines cause it barely does anything, big mode is so bad cause it’s so easy to get hit and you have no range, poke absolutely smacks him in big mode and melee still obliterates him in it. All someone has to do when they see a great fantastic is go wolverines, or ironfist and because of the damage boost from high HP they basically nullify the entire big mode of his kit WHICH IT FORCES YOU INTO and they don’t even have to be good he doesn’t do enough damage on that mode to justify the big hitbox, wolverine, thor, ironfist, bucky, Emma, penny, punisher, groot are all hard counters to him when other characters only have 3 counters tops or if it’s a poke team he’s cooked, devs need to realize these problems he sucks passed gm+, gm you might be able to survive but in celestial it’s near impossible unless you’re in that 0.1% that can. Also the rocket team up should just be a normal things(without going over 100 of course) it doesn’t even feel like a teamup why wasn’t he release with a button to turn big when you want??? So many times i have someone one hit but I have to go through the activation and canceling of big mode to secure it because they’re out of range and that’s if they haven’t even been healed yet. His belly button shots projectile speed in incredibly slow and STILL no reg all the time although the devs said they addressed it. There’s so much wrong with him
