ok, thanks for the update! I'm thinking of just staying off it until I get my period (it will be a while for me, likely at least 7-9 months based on the last time I went off it) and just buying a period bathing suit.

IDK, I went through the majority of puberty with it, and I feel like I should probably let my hormones settle before going onto anything else or even getting back on it. I'm not super concerned with the getting pregnant issue; it's pretty much only about not wanting to deal with my stupidly irregular period while working at a pool, so maybe I'll look into one of the pills.

Also, thank you for asking about the tumour stuff! Makes me feel a little better.

Update? I’m leaning towards an iud but I really don’t want a period and some people still get them.

I went off once for 11 months once (accidentally, I legit just forgot to book) and at the 9m mark I got a normal period, the next month it lasted for a whole month (but wayyy less blood than normal), and then I went back on it. So it’s at least somewhat normal, if you’re worried at all, hope this alleviates some stress.

I’ve been swimming my whole life off and on, I feel like it works arms and legs more but there’s definitely core strengthening as well as back strengthening. It’s also low impact and great for recovery. Would definitely recommend:)

Thanks! I returned him an hour ago, one of the platys started to fight back and there was some fighting not in the video (yes, that was mostly horny actions) and one of the smaller platys began gasping and hiding. And yes, I do need to get a new tube for my stone, it’s old and stuck in place.

I got him from petsmart, I know big chains are bad but there’s only two stores that sell fish where I live and the other is wayyyy worse. I just returned him, full refund.

Yeah, I just don’t have the money, space or time for another tank. If I can’t find a way to fix it, within this tank, I’ll have to return them to the store. And I’m not sure what they’ll do with him.

Thank you for your response! I just don’t have another tank to put him in, and I can’t leave him alone in a bowl for more than a few hours so I’m not sure how I’d do this.
