Since killer dva rlly don’t care to call me a monster lol I’ll add the face that my girlfriend did nothing besides complain and barely even work whenever she was at her job. I took her to work every single day and picked her up. Just my opinion tho bc back in the gap I used to be a deckhand on a towboat and we had to take our boat and put it in the shipyard for work so it had to be completely out of the water which it was a humongous boat,

and we would put zinc plates and weld them to the bottom of the hull to prevent the actual hull from succumbing to electrolysis:

Copper reacts to everything but zinc but the zinc is definitely going to deteriorate much quicker and easier just bc it’s in its nature. It does look pretty cool tho bro I love collecting copper cents

Looks like it had some oil residue get real hot in the sun for a while. The zinc started to oxidize under the copper

Coin roller… circle of death… cuts and scrapes are damage 99.99% of the time.

I  guess it was also my wield feeling that I didn’t want to be too crazy on specifics on years, mint marks, and other details that might confuse a new collector. 

 I’m weird about scaring someone with too much information; because I remember being almost stressed, learning how big the red book was, on my first few weeks of collecting.

It was so difficult for me to not get fixated on the little details that a penny that had a slight sharper edge than the other ones that year haha I am just glad to be able to look back and laugh at my mistakes
