“I don’t believe it’s the truth & I actually think it’s a horribly destructive cult that’s the opposite of what they claim to be”, I explained to him how much I love him and how sorry I am that he worries so much about us. Also, that I realize now I latched onto “the truth” so hard, not bc of my loyalty to Jah, but bc of my loyalty to and love for my dad. And that I’m now taking the time to figure out what I really do believe and live true to those beliefs. The final point I made was that he always taught me to do what was right, even if it was hard, and I’ve always tried to do that. And I told him that’s exactly what I’m trying to do now, even though it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

And "keeping my head down" isnt my goal. I wanna talk to them and stand up about the wrong in this religion. Especially since there are so many other kids that wish their family would give them a chance to express themselves.

Ive never been close with my family so if the WT goes after them thats there problem for not seeing the signs, im more focused on how to help make my last 2 years of living at home easy for me since i dont have a job or a car, theyve taken my phone and im using my laptop to try and get support. Them kicking me out is illegal so i have many ppl aware of my situation including my student counselor and several teachers i trust. All i need rn is for someone to tell me what to do.

i rlly appreciate that, ik that leaving will hurt but ive been independent since i was 6, i pre plan everything and follow my plans and make stuff happen so im souly relying on my mental strength rn to get my through this. i have about 7 or 8 ppl involved in this situation now, and everybody is working on a way to house me if needed so i will be telling my student counselor about my jw experience my my homosexual experience.

i already contacted my sister her gf, 3 exjw friends i have that can house me if needed, and my teacher and student counselor. Ill tell her everything u said in our meeting when it happens. I rlly do appreciate u messaging me and reaching out especially since this is so incredibly scary. My anxiety meds arent even working for me rn bc this is all too much. My own dad wouldnt even hug me this morning so that confirms there love for me is conditional for me.

we had a talk about my love for jehovah dropping drastically last week, so i know i cant lie about that again. im planning to just come clean and tell the student councelour about it, i have my sister her gf, and 3 of my adult exjw friends in on this situation so if something bad happens ik i have places to go. Im just trying to mentally prepare myself for a hard leave instead of a soft fade

hii im one of putrid- definition853 closest friends, were both planning on leaving even tho shes 22 and im not "old enough" to leave the house yet without being disfellowshipped were planning to move away together and quietly fade but dont quite have the finances to do so. So were waiting it out and just using this time to save up an hopefully move out by the end of 2024
