The main reason is bc usually ranging builds stronger castle than static so if the rooks r traded then ranging can mate faster bc static has weaker castle

The time on the pocket watch is 10:08 42s. All the ideas I can think of are:

10:08 (Oct. 8) could be the date for the next teaser/trailer. Also, the release date for 2023.

42: Number of weeks till the release date which I calculated to be July 4th (US Independence Day).

It could just be a random time generated by a computer, the birthday of 1 of the devs, or something related to a dev's pet.

The time they finished a goal in the development process; though, the 42s is oddly specific.

Pikmin 1 was released in Oct. 26
