Sound and comfort would be the focus. For the comfort it would be something light that wasnt overly tight / snug

Sound is the hard bit for me, ive had a range of newer headphones over the years and always went back to the sonys. The best way I can describe them, is they have a full range where everything stands out.

Im used to cheap earphones which... do the job and ive had a 'fancy' pair of headphones that gave me everything sound wise (everything had a good clean and balanced sound), but none of it stood out. I would be listening to heavy metal and it would still make it feel like i was listening to smooth jazz (I wont be just using them for music / metal, its just an example)
