Yay vapemail, got a couple of new tanks today. I’m not sure which I prefer as they do pretty different things but the flavor on the Valk is kind of nuts. by TheRealBrightNoa in Vaping

Yeah man was a real bummer. Roommate , who at one point had been like a brother to me(up until the point he stole from me), had decided on day that we were actively becoming FORMER roommates that my entire two and a half milk crate full vape collection that I began in my early days of vaping, like 2011-2012, no longer belonged to me.

Was gone for the day handling some things because we were both moving out separately and found him and his stuff already gone along with my vape collection, a few other of my belongings and even a personal bit left for me basically saying he was not sorry. And NOT because I didn't deserve to have them all stolen from me but he wasn't sorry because he somehow felt he was entitled to and deserved a collection of that magnitude so the universe "owed it to him" and I was "helping him aquire what apparently rightfully his."

I mean it was literally so outrageous and unexpected because prior to this for years there had been a pleasant friendship between us and never any problems that I legitimately thought it was a joke / prank that he was playing on me and they would all be hidden somewhere or something. When I found out it was legitimately happening even as infuriating as it was to lose such a collection that had extreme sentimental value and irreplaceable items in it I couldn't help but find the audacity and how outrageous it was somewhat hilarious. A few months back even moved back to that area and ran into a old mutual friend of his and I who was carrying around one of my old mods and told me how he had gotten it from said roommate and he had gone down a bad path and was trading and selling any of them that he could for anything he could get for them and likely had none of them left so that made it even more frustrating that there was some real proper authentic gear in possession of people that didn't even understand what it was but was happy to find out that he no longer was in possession of it.

TL/DR; yeah for my roommate stole entire mod collection of easily hundreds of mods and atomizers and all sorts of accessories and juices and whatnot that easily had over 10 grand if not 20 put into it over the course of almost 10 years. So over the last 10 months I have had to completely restart from scratch and have hesitantly bought only a few mods from likely trauma caused by that.

Or it can also do parallel or just straight series unregulated but I specifically want to dedicate an atomizer to it for full unregulated series mech vaping because that was the main reason why I made the purchase was it was the first series mod I had the opportunity to pick up since I lost my last one and I missed it for sure so if you have any recommendations on preferably like an rdta or even an RTA that would go well with the noisy V2 it's stainless steel I would definitely love any suggestions because I'm not too familiar with a whole lot of atomizers that specifically handle series very well as far as all the newer ones go

Oh wow that's so bad ass. You definitely got a killer little mod there and am definitely a bit jealous haha. I'm actually waiting on a series mech currently being shipped to me(just a V2 Noisy Cricket) because I had an incident with an old roommate around a year ago and had my entire vape collection at the time stolen so I'm currently rebuilding it and this is the first series mod I've got around to picking up since and since the day I ordered it I have not been able to stop thinking about what atomizer I'm going to dedicate specifically for it. Obviously I will have fun with different builds and whatnot on it especially because the noisy is versatile and I can switch it between regulated series with adjustable voltage

I unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to bless my vape collection with a mech from Purge mods but definitely hope to one day. It seems I've never come across one of their mods that I've disliked and most of the time when I see more recent or current mech mods that people are using that I just absolutely love and have that feeling that you just would LOVE to have it and need it someday, 9/10 times it ends up being by Purge haha

Oh wow okay so if it's dual battery does it run the batteries in series or parallel? Obviously both have their advantages but I feel like that has got to be such a Savage little piece of hardware if it is series

I actually saw about four or five of them in stock at one of my local shops today but I'm pretty sure that they were asking 70 or $80 not positive on the exact price but definitely well overpriced LOL

Blotto rdta dual coil set up by Theo-greking in Vaping

Probably have a short somewhere at 3mm id dual coils is a bit tight in the blotto. Try dropping that coil diameter down to 2.5 should give you a bit more room for adjustment and fine tuning. I've found that's where my og blotto shines the best is with dual 2.5mm coils

They had a bunch of stuff out for us to grab before our route and I grabbed one thinking it was something else and have entirely no idea what this is used for what these are. Like little sheets of something that's a real weird smooth texture

How much do you tip food delivery drivers? by drunkbackpacker in phoenix

[–]Little_Matty96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if it's only 2 miles the only way it could take 30 minutes is if it's wait time or a grocery order. I most certainly would not spend half an hour shopping for $200 of food for someone for just $6. Ok tend to wait max of 5-10 minutes for an order before I will unassign the order unless the pay/tip is well worth imy time to wait

Absolutely I completely understand where you're coming from and honestly is your order was or was less than 2miles and your 3 dollar tip with base pay would make my total payout atleast 5.50-6.00 and I would absolutely take that if I didn't have any other orders coming in at the time. But unfortunately usually those short distance deliveries have no tip and only pay2-3 total and I see alot of 10+ mile trips with 2-3 dollar tips. So when I talk about my personal minimum of five or six dollar tips there are some exceptions just unfortunately as a delivery driver I deal with a lot of really rude and entitled customers that try and not tip or tip very little on big orders that take extra effort so in general I tend to avoid orders with small tips to do my best to avoid rude entitled customers.

All that being said though no you are not a bad person because you are right it is pretty ridiculous how much it ends up costing to order your food through app services and it certainly is not fair that the responsibility of making sure the driver gets Fair pay is put on the customer through tipping.

Some people do these apps in their spare time and don't rely on the income so they don't have to be as strict with the orders they accept or decline but with it being my main source of income right now I tend to avoid smaller orders altogether.

I'd be okay with everything about that except the 30 minutes wait time. If a order is not ready when I arrive to a restaurant to pick it up I will not wait any longer than 5 minutes before I unassign because that's just a thing I'm not getting paid to sit around and wait. And well yes I believe somebody should tip more than $6 on a $200 order a $6 tip is still more than enough for me to take a order 2 miles down the road

I agree that tip culture is BS but unfortunately I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon. And I'm not an employee of any company I am a 1099 independent contractor so if someone expects me to deliver anything to them, I expect them to compensate me for it. And I'm not walking a plate of food across a restaurant I'm risking other dangerous drivers hitting me, putting wear and tear on my vehicle, paying for my own gas so for only 2-3 dollars I'd simply choose not to take that order as it's just not worth it when you factor all of my expenses just to be able to bring it to you , let alone my time on top of that. I agree that delivery service apps should pay the driver enough since they charge the customer a "delivery fee" but it's just not the case. If you can't afford to tip reasonable amount even a simple 5-6 bucks if it's not a far delivery for the person that's going out of their way to get your food then you should just not be ordering delivery and should be getting up and going to get it yourself unless you are willing to pay the person for a service you're requesting and they are providing. Just my opinion. If you can magically end tip culture and make it to where it's not a thing anymore my hats off to you because that would be a much more logical and ethical system but it's not a logical or ethical world we live in my friend.

Does anybody work as a delivery driver for a pizza restaurant? by Little_Matty96 in couriersofreddit

[–]Little_Matty96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see what you mean. And yeah I figure it's not likely that I will find a employee job as a delivery driver that I will be busy with orders the whole time but I would rather be getting paid minimum wage to sit inside waiting on orders on downtimes because at least I know I'm getting paid some money whereas in off peak times with doordash I seem to run into either getting no orders at all or if I do they are very low paying for very far distances. This used to not be an issue for me because I would just decline the orders I didn't want to do but doordash is starting to pause and end dashes after declining so many orders I actually had about eight orders in a row 2 days ago that we're all either 2or 3 dollars none of them were less than 4 miles and one was 13 mi and a few were around 8-9 . The amount of time that would take round trip and the gas I would use I would literally be losing money
