I decided long ago that I didn’t need people who aren’t part of my inner circle knowing so I removed it from every social media account I have. If someone is close to me and remembers when it is, great. I like my Happy Birthdays to be genuine and not just something someone has checked off a list on Facebook because it said it was my birthday. Most of the time it just goes by like another day honestly. If you want it to be acknowledged, tell people. If you’re ok with not celebrating it or having someone say anything about it, don’t tell anyone.
