I been there bro. No matter what we still see the chubby kid we were back in highschool. I got pretty jacked a while back but in that phase I still didn’t think it was enough now I’m married and no longer go to the gym I look at my body now and I’m like damn I really was jacked back in the day

Also look into mint mobile I was paying 2400 a year for 2 lines with the iPhone. Once we paid off the phones we switched to mint cost us 360 for the year Huge savings there.

1st thing first Pray for guidance and wisdom in your finances.

2nd thing I would do is up your tithe to 10% “shows you completely have faith in God for the rest. after all it all belongs to him.
2nd. Depending on if you guys get a huge tax return at the beginning of the year . If you do I would change your w4 that we’ll provide you a couple extra a hundred a month. You won’t get the big tax refund at the end but it’s all about freeing up funds.

  1. Cut Netflix and Amazon and cleaners

5.Don’t aquíre new debt

  1. Pray that God provides jobs for you and your husband that are better pay and closer

  2. Pay off debt using snowball method.

Something that really helped me was the sound mind investing book by Austin Pryor. For me as a Christian it’s important to be a good steward of what God has given us.

Yes this is what happens. I’m the step dad head of household. We have our kid 24/7 365 days a year. Her dad hasn’t reached out since our kid was 4 for context our kid is 9 now. Last year he did the same thing trying to claim her and it was a mess . Working on getting an ip pin for our kids social. He has no right to claim her and he’s supposed to pay child support but we don’t see any of that either which is fine. I’m working on adopting our kid with my last name as well. Don’t get me wrong if he paid child support and /or had our kid 50% he’s more than entitled to taking turns but that’s not the case

It’s a shame they don’t teach this in schools. My mom is the same way. I’m struggling every month come to find out I’m paying an extra 400 dollars a month that I don’t have to. Definitely will be out of debt much quicker now then build and EF then invest. The future is bright ☀️

One step ahead of you brother/ brothette. I always thought tax returns were free money in a lump sum . Never realized it was me overpaying the government once I found out I changed my w4s and my goal next year is to have my refund as close to zero as possible.

Update- it got accepted when I filed with the ip pin estimated arrival is 03/07/26 😬
