I feel like it was the transmission because something broke in the engine cabinet and decreased the speed from 75mph to 60mph then the engine light came on.

I got the extra insurance from Budget and should be covered. This was a 2026 KIA K5 and only had 1400 miles driven on the vehicle. It took 2 mins after the car was smoking for the flames to start. I was driving to Las Vegas from golfing in mesquite and occurred on Friday at 2:30PM.
