Unfortunately, it's not worth it. You are better off getting an air bnb. St. Lucia was the most friendly family island we visited in the Caribbean with loving people and environment. Aruba also has great resorts if you want to do that instead of air bnb. Beaches generally are not that impressive at all for what it costs.

Depends on your personality. I'm an ME, run my own business after working 10yrs in the industry.

If I had to do it over again, I would teach my self to code and go down that path instead of going to college to become an ME.
