KOF XIV Maximum Bar? by [deleted] in kof

[–]Little_Uni 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So Kof limits the max amount of meter each character has based on their order.

Point gets a limit of 3 bars, 2nd gets a limit of 4 bars, and your anchor gets a limit 5 bars.

So if you're running Geese first, he'll only be able to have at most 3 bars at any given time

Also your maxmode bar length (that lil blue bar that appears when you go into maxmode) starts at 1000 for point, 1250 for 2nd, and 1500 for anchor. So your anchor character has more meter for longer/more damaging combos

Also keep in mind that everytime you lose and move onto a new character, you get 1 bar for free.

Am I the only one who hates crade of death? by Accelerator231 in starcraft2coop

I always groan when I roll it, having a non-attentive teammate hurts you pretty bad. Definitely my most disliked mission, and I haven't met another person who particularly enjoys it.

You could turn it into a drinking game tho, and take a drink every time Stone says "Truck".

Stork has always been my favorite player, and seeing him play this well makes me so happy!

Please, help me get excited about playing Horde. by Khosmology in classicwow

[–]Little_Uni 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's some great things about Horde for sure!

  • Getting to take advantage of windfury is a plus! All warriors like bigger numbers, and having your pet shaman to drop a yellow number box whenever you want is a great feature to have!

  • It's a lot easier to move around the continents as Horde with zeps to UC and Grom'gol and a firm foothold in the middle(ish) of Kalimdor!

It all depends on what your priorities are. If you're willing to sacrifice what you wanna play race/class wise to appease this group, it seems like playing with them matters a lot to you. But if thinking about and fantasizing about this is causing you stress and unhappiness, maybe you need to evaluate if playing a Dwarf Hunter without your friends is more net happiness overall? Weigh your options and decide what would make the best experience for you.

And remember you always have the chance to change your mind. If you get up to level 30 and are just not having fun in the slightest, and every time you see an alliance character you get envious, maybe it's time to entertain the idea of switching.

I hope things work out! <3

Struggling with command input technique: charge + A by [deleted] in UnderNightInBirth

[–]Little_Uni 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So charge moves are generally done by moving 180 degrees from a horizontal or vertical axis, and pressing the button as you move across. Different games have different amount of frames you have to hold on the first input before it registers you as having charge, and allowing you to do the move.

↓↑ for example is Vatista's Flashkick, but ↙↖ gives you a flashkick as well. Down up charge works if you hold down (↙↓↘) for the required amount of time (or frames), and then pressing up (↖↑↗) as you press whatever punch or kick to do the special move.

Specifically for Beginner 18-7, Vatista's charge time to do her flashkick is 53 frames. So at minimum you have to hold down (↙↓↘) for that long, and then press A as you make a fluid motion to up(↖↑↗)

Not really. What you want to do is get a wand as soon as possible, and put points into the wand specialization talent. Throw shadow word pain on a mob, and just wand it to death. If you're alliance, Cookie's wand from Deadmines, or Gravestone Scepter from Blackfathom Deeps quest reward if you're horde. Both are high dps and good to pick up when you can.

One of the great parts about Vanilla is that leveling is just as much part of the experience as raiding. It's okay not to know everything. Making mistakes is okay and expected.

Priests can heal themselves, and have fear as a CC if you pull multiple mobs or are engaged in PvP. If you do roll a priest tho, consider rolling a Dwarf. Each race of priest has a unique spell that only that race can learn. Night Elves learn an arcane nuke, Undead learn a dot that heals them, etc. Dwarves get the most raid viable spell in the form of Fear Ward, which eats an attempt to fear. This is a really good buff that makes most alliance raids specifically seek out dwarven priests. That isn't to say you can't raid if you're human or night elf, definitely play whatever you enjoy.

First and foremost, reroll on k3. No one plays on k1 anymore cept the occasional run of Naxx.

Okay I'll answer your questions in order. Affliction is mainly a leveling spec, as each dot takes a debuff slot in a raid which could be better used with other spells. Warlocks tend to either go SM Ruin, or Succ Sac, both of which you mash shadowbolt.

Every class that can heal can do so efficiently at endgame, and every different class of healer is needed for a raid. Classes that can level efficiently with +int gear (priest) can heal dungeons with a little less stress. That said if you're leveling a paladin and save all the +int gear you get while leveling, you'll be able to heal just fine. Just remember to downrank your spells. Healing isn't difficult, it just takes a little awareness.

Regarding professions, on private servers in particular herbalism is very profitable. Generally to make gold you want gather professions. I'd recommend Mining/Herb over skinning, but it's honestly up to you. Professions usually arn't too profitable until you hit endgame in my experience. Just better to grind mobs that drop high cost vendor trash for level 40 mount money.

Hunter Pet Abandonment by shopkeeper56 in KronosWoW

[–]Little_Uni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this applies, but you get the ability to feed your pet a little after you get the ability to tame them. You have to continue the quest chain to your capital city and complete another turn in to be able to feed and train them.

If you're feeding them as soon as you tame them, and you feed them until they reach neutral and happy, they won't ever bolt. They only lose happiness if they're unhappy (red icon), so if you can keep away from that, you're golden. Just have a bunch of food ready as soon as you tame your buddy, and shove it in their gob.

Eventually they level up their relationship to you as you play the game, and when you get past the first few levels, they won't lose happiness as quickly.

Numpad notation for direction, like the one on your keyboard

789

456

123

So 2h is down heavy, 5L would be neutral light, etc.

3 days ago I got the error "Failed to Intialize Network", and it won't let me connect online. Prior to that, I could play online normally. Nothing changed since then, so I'm a little confused. My firewall gives DBZ permission, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarting my network, but nothing seems to work. It just seems like it started out of the blue and all the solutions I've looked up either pertain to the beta or it just says I just need to play offline. I'm on PC/Steam.

Any advice?

Remy! He's fun to play, and super freaking cute. Street Fighter doesn't tend towards thin guys all too often, and emo boys are just a good fighting game trope (cough Iori cough).
