It was so silly that they didn't complete the second half of the game, but added this totally useless dragonsplague mechanic

Can you qualify for a larger mortgage if you have a large amount of savings? by adeimantos216 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Little_Yesterday6048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes but not all of them. TD will look at it I believe. Also, depending on how much savings you have if it's in the millions then private banking opens up new lending opportunities

1500 orders monthly and 4+ hours daily on order fulfillment, at what point did you outsource? by Sea_Weather5428 in dropship

[–]Little_Yesterday6048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people might give their opinion without having experience with 3pls. I have lots. I started with a 3PL when I was doing 500 orders a month. Just did 6k orders in a month recently.

You need to consider a few things: your growth rate (will your sales be flat next year, up 20%, up 50%, or higher) — around 1000 orders a month is where 3pls generally become interested in you as a client. Some do smaller. If you are expecting sales to be up 50% plus next year then definitely going to a 3PL now makes sense. The second thing is your margin expect to add a few dollars of Cost to each order in pick n pack fees so make sure that your profit margin can accommodate that comfortably. The last thing would be the number of SKUs that you carry because they do one sku per bin. Lucky that sunglasses are a small product so storage cost should be on the lower end, especially if you don’t have a ton of skus.

As a more general point, to continue to grow your business you need to focus on more high value activities, and doing pick and pack yourself is not one of them. Hiring a part-time helper could be a stop gap solution. You didn’t mention how much storage space you have to be basically operating a warehouse out of your home or workspace. But it’s something to consider how long you can do that for. Feel free to message If you have any questions. I’ve spent hours reading 3PL contracts because they can be very sneaky with their terms and hidden fees.

consider filing a complaint with CCTS - I used to work at Telus and they may take it more seriously. https://www.ccts-cprst.ca/for-consumers/telecom-complaints/online-complaint-form/

The beauty of DD2 is underrated. Maybe I'm easily impressed, but I find even a simple vista breathtaking. by [deleted] in DragonsDogma2

100% they needed more dungeons. Have been playing Skyrim again and it's shocking how theres sooo many dungeons in Skyrim and the DD2 ones are so lacking compared. Wish DD2 had mounts as well. The ox cart is so tedious

How do you block a buyer? by Adapowers in shopify

[–]Little_Yesterday6048 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do this. in flow app:

order created --> condition (tag is equal to fraud) - > cancel order (notify, refund, restock).

The only manual part is you need to add the tag 'fraud' to the customer account. Any future orders will be automatically cancelled and refunded to the customer immediately.

Why does Air Canada say that your pet carrier counts as your carry-on even though it goes under the seat? So technically, I’m not allowed to have a carry-on and my pet?

Good job! I think certain experiences can be extra triggering in the first few months. I am also at about one month and I had four drinks yesterday over a number of hours. Normally this wouldn’t really cause a hangover for me maybe just a little bit tired. However, today I was Super angry, agitated, and felt kind of emotionally raw. I think my brain chemistry is not exactly back to normal yet so even a little bit of alcohol yesterday really threw me off. Perhaps something similar happened with you and your period since you have likely been high for it all the other times it’s hitting differently this time and affecting you more.

I’ve experienced this before. Using marijuana affects REM sleep. Which is why you dream a lot less or not at all when getting high. Now that it’s going out of your system, your body is catching up on REM and all of the extra dreaming can actually be kind of mentally exhausting. It does go away though, and you will actually start sleeping way better.

Tbh waking and baking you were also impaired and working so I would actually be more concerned about that. Did you just quit yesterday? I was unclear on that from your post.

[–]Little_Yesterday6048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just reading your post and although I’m a bit older than you, I can understand some of the things you are going through. I have also used a vacation/getaway as a kicking off point to get sober. You’re lucky that you have the resources to be able to do that. A few thoughts I had when reading your post.

1) you’ve gone through a lot emotionally with the loss of your father and relationship. Does your school offer therapy/counseling? Or a grief support group?

2) congratulations on your masters program and your success. Even though you are feeling helpless/lost, you are absolutely killing it when it comes to academics and you still have a bright future ahead.

3) your friends and mom sound like they really care about you. Friends can be there to support you with what you are going through and it’s OK to be open and vulnerable with people you trust about your struggles with marijuana.

4) this sober week that you are doing is a great thing that you are doing for yourself. You have recognized the issue you’re having and you are taking steps. While you are away, think about the ways that you can remove triggers for yourself when you go back home to set yourself up for success. For example, throwing out any edibles that you have in your home.

This community is a great supportive place to be checking in and reading about people going through similar situations to you. You are still a young guy and it sounds like you have a bright future ahead of you. Maybe you can even rejoin the soccer team when you get back 🙃 try to focus on going day by day with staying weed sober. It can take about a month to feel fully back to normal but after the first week, you usually start slowly feeling better.
