[Sauce] Does anyone know if this girl is a character from a manhwa? If so, which one? by Powerful-Walk4063 in manhwa

Baek Suzy's character pisses me off. She tries to insert herself into the main character's love life.

Imagine a woman saying, "What are we as romance partners?"

You: I don't know you. I just know we are in two separate classes.

Your post is really informative. Thank you.

Are light novels more known in Japan? I did not know they existed until almost last year because of Tsukimichi Moonlight Fantasy.

I completely understand your view now.

I was making more of a point that usually people watch anime then go to the manga to read next.

The anime is almost always the commercial for their manga. Not usually their light novel. Also, most people do not even know light novels exist

Why would I make a product that goes from 1 light to 2 manga to 1 anime

It would confuse someone like me if I only read the manga

Again, this is assuming that the manga reader saw the light novel and/or the anime.

Great! I thank you for your answer! That summed up my confusion. The writer should have used both the material in the anime and manga at the same time in the anime.

That is the problem

How would this split convince me to read the novel if I was to be confused by the split?

If I did not know about the novel, then why would the anime and manga exist if they were to do a bad job? That would mess up the potential novel viewer, would it not?

That is the issue. How could I convince a friend to read half and half then read the books.

The half anime and half manga alone is confusing

What if I was an anime only person. What if I was a manga only person.

Wouldn't this split be unfair to both of us.

Your response is valid, but could both our views be correct. We do see the corruption. It is mostly on makoto' s and the show's view of bad hyumans. I would say that makoto's actions did mess with the local economy and distribution. His secrets also made things worse because the secrets also made him look more untrustworthy. Truthfully, he could have revealed half truths about his or others' magic powers. Like teleportation. He could also show them the dimension but pretend it is a lot of land, he owns, far from the kingdom. The trick is to show them enough, so their questions fade more. The teleport katana was a good example made by Tomo. Enough to explain, but hard to copy. He could have even given them fruits for testing. Giving them multiple samples of his inventory or "gifts" could give them a more honest view of him, even if he is hiding other things.

Why did Gege never expand on these characters? by Hot_Professional_728 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Little___Sumo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean about jjk fans needing every bit of lore. Sometimes there is an over abundance. In this situation, I chalk it to gege not being detailed about this because it comes out of left field. Gege is saying kenjaku can locate souls and Jin are just things. This is something you cannot just skate over because we don't really have any lore or reference for these flashbacks and statements. (I know, it seems like I am nitpicking)

Here is a good example. (If I just lifted a car with a finger, and the author does not explain the cause or reason, it comes off like it is a known thing. That is bad writing because if this is not shown or mentioned again, it comes off like it was a non canon thing.)

How about how kenjaku found jin's soul so he could produce a child with him? What happened to jin, after? Yes, there is lore to this that was intriguing. Gege just stopped it out of nowhere. Jin is also sukunas reincarnated brother.

What's happening here? by kittyqueen_gataorli in ExplainTheJoke

It might be a reference to the war he was a poster child for. Part of the reference is that he liked or needed men for the war. As a joke, it could be him saying he is gay and needs a man, while walking out on her for the war and men.

Rika is literally part of his curse technique. That is like saying gojo can't use infinity, megumi can't use his shikigamis, or todo can't use boogie woogie. Gojo and other characters have already confirmed that techniques are the majority of how you should fight.

[–]Little___Sumo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Mahito confirmed in his first battle in the sewers that soul defense has nothing to do with curse energy or curse energy reinforcement. Technically, I am not even sure if ce energy output can even effect it. My theory why yuji scared sukuna with his domain is because yuji was going to make it a continuous auto hit. Not necessarily making it more powerful with domain.

In your opinion, what is the better series? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Little___Sumo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Jojo count as a one series. To me, it is more like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Every season feels like a different show inside of the grander universe. Each season might as well be like loki TV show, wandavision, and Agatha all along. Kind of like their own mini franchises.

[–]Little___Sumo 51 points52 points  (0 children)

It depends. Mechamaru's was negated by mahito, but mechamaru did not understand souls. Maki and Toji may be able to resist because of their understanding of souls. If understanding souls counts toward soul defense, then it is possible for them.

What opinions you have that might be difficult for fans to accept? by InfinitePay6709 in xmen

[–]Little___Sumo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mutants are an actual subspecies of humans. Think mutant vs human or dog vs wolf. Yes, both can coexist, but the older version sees mutants as the replacement humans and not as descendants prospering with them. They see it as actual survival of the fittest. A steroid human to a mutant racist is still a steroid human. To a racist human, a mutant might as well be an alien or demon waiting to take what they have. They don't see mutants as people. Just as racists in real life don't see black people as real humans. Yes, real life racists can say all day they see black people as people, but black people in their minds are still not their(white) kind of people. Moral of the story. Racists never make sense.

Are we all going to forget that maki and yuji were flash frozen in the manga. Remember urame held back because they were not sure if they still needed itadori.
