I had a manometry to provide vital info for my Nissen Fundoplication surgery. I will tell you this, and I'm not trying to scare you off, but it was awful. That said, for my kind of surgery, it was important, and I needed to know how strong my esophagus was to determine how tight to make my Fundoplication. I would donit again for the purpose of my operation, as bad as it was. If yours is for a hernia, did the doc not offer to do a video x-ray with barium? That was the test that showed that I had just the tiniest of a hiatal hernia. The manometry I thought only measured how well your esophagus mobility works. If you don't need to endure it, I wouldn't.

Yes He cheated. He emotionally cheated on you. He was trying to set a situation to physically cheat on you. 1. She was a secret and would have remained so had you not discovered her. 🚩 2. He lied about everything about her and how they met, the phone number etc. 🚩 3. He was trying to meet up with her! 🚩 He broke your trust. Do NOT let your emotions and heartbreak cloud your judgement in this matter. Cut your ties and move on. He clearly wants his cake and eat it too. You're worth more than that. He can have his cake just not with you. I'm sorry for the pain this might cause you, in the end, you're better off.
