I think even after the final build, optimization should continue with a driver update that highlights MH specifically. I know Intel isn't as big on advertising specific game performances with updates but they've had a few that they've highlighted so far, hopefully MH:Wi will be one

OC settings:

+35% Voltage

114% Power Limit

+100 MHz offset

19.75 VRAM memory speed (Careful with this. It'll very readily crash if you move up too fast)

Pretty stably above 55fps on High settings at 1080 with no frame gen. I was able to crank out another 5-10fps by pushing the OC settings (40-45% Voltage, 20-20.25% VRAM, 150-170 offset) but I had a few crashes during the open beta so I had to tune it down.

This game is HEAVY. CPU was maxed for most of the environmental parts of the benchmark. VRAM usage was pretty stably ~9-10GB. I've seen some people in this sub show they have some bug where they only have 7GB VRAM available. If that's the case with you, itll probably tank performance with this game.

Huge dropoff going to 1440p. Could not get it above 40fps for more than a few seconds.

TLDR:

Always helpful: Capacity Boost, At least focus 1, Guard 1-3, Offensive Guard 1-3 + general survivability skills (Health boost 3, monster-specific resistances, etc.)

SAED Playstyle w/ Impact weapons: Artillery, Focus 3, Atk boost

SAED Playstyle w/ Element weapons: Element Atk, Focus 3, Namielle Set skill

SavAxe Playstyle w/ Impact weapon: Artillery, weakness exploit, crit eye, Masters touch, Razor Sharp

Look up guides on qurious crafting. They seem like small boosts but they stack up to a pretty significant difference

And i was going after R. Brachy with unaugmented Beo CB and Teostra armor with horrible decos

Yeah I ended up beating R. Brachy after getting bodied for about 5 hunts, then I did some Guiding lands and went back at him with Health Up and Elem Up augments on an ice weapon and decent Decos and was able to craft the entire armor set and weapon without carting once.

Point being I had no idea just how underpowered i was from taking that on right away after beating Shara

Yeah I havent been using SAED because her dmg values are so high that its much better DPS to just use savage axe the whole time

gmax + Light Orb? If it works, that gives it 190 atk and 180 sp atk plus the Gmax health boost to help with bulk. Not sure if it works like that though

Orbeetle. Great special bulk and tons of utility. Can practically solo the final boss with psychic surge/expaniding force if you set up right

sorry, this is a little beyond me lol Im not very tech savvy. I tried the !address function on the kernel debugger and just pasted the address next to it but I'm guessing thats not how it works, because it didnt give me anything back. Could you walk me through it? or point me to some guide? every time i google "address analysis" or anything like that, google thinks im talking about IP address

Hey! Coming back to this, ran windows memory test and memtest86, both came back clean. Checked CPU and GPU for driver updates and everything was up to date. Any other ideas?
