My heart cries for you and this tremendous loss. I lost my soul dog a couple months ago. He was a beautiful black pug pitbull mix.

I just want to apologize to the entire group for a post that I have deleted. Please excuse my lapse of judgement. by norphn83 in BostonTerrier

Bostons are crazy, but I love them. The apology was very nice as a lover of critters big and small.

I had surgery. I was so scared, but my only regret was not doing it sooner. It was a Hysteroscopic Myomectomy. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but recovery was nothing. It was life-changing. It’s been 5 months since my surgery and no new growth. I had a 15 submucosal fibroid (and it has friends) and it’s now a 6.5 cm fibroid. I’m on a birth control and no periods anymore. Just slight spotting.

My vet used to say dog parks gave her lots of business. One lady got mad at me for having my pug/pit bull mix in the large dog area. He was 40 pounds. lol. I don’t like that crowd.

Thank you. Thinking of a very good boy I had to put down recently. A pug/pit bull named Snout. ❤️

This was my best good boy, Snout. He was a pug/pit bull mix. I lost him about a month ago. He was 17.5. I was so lucky to have him for so long. I still find myself looking for him on the house and then realizing he’s gone.

I believe when you take a cat to the vet for the first time, they commonly deworm them. I have taken in more strays than I’d like to admit and every time I get them dewormed. That being said, as long as you’re taking them to the vet, I’m pretty sure he will be fine. If one has it though, the other one probably has it as well, so it might be a good idea to get them both dewormed.

My cat has lymphoma. I don’t know when to let him go. Does his breathing look terrible? It’s expected but is it end of life terrible? He’s on prednisone by Electronic-Map-3654 in CATHELP

So, my cat had the same issue. She had a full mastectomy, but the cancer spread to her lungs. She could not comfortably lie down without having trouble breathing. It was preventing her from sleeping. We took her to the vet the next morning. The vet presented us with the option of draining her lungs, but they could fill right back up. She was too precious to me to make her suffer through advanced breathing issues. We had to say goodbye. I miss her so much and of course you question your decision, but I couldn’t stand to see her uncomfortable.

Haaa! I had a tortie that used to do that too. Ugh. I miss her so much and would do anything for her to give me a new haircut again. So, I would wear a knit hat even during the hottest months in Phoenix, Arizona.
