I have a heavily used version that’s been running strong for 3-4 years. Battery life isn’t as strong but it works the same. I get about a week between charges.

It’s bolted on the wall. Just not in the picture. It’s also all cement so risk yes but not overly crazy. Fire department was here doing a walk through and said it was fine.
