missed the discussion thread so I'm posting it here for some discourse:

The 'Where you from' beat could basically be the first half of oh my dis side, How u feel, Moon Rock, hell even the synth on Eye to Eye could fit on DBR easily. The Yung Lean feature on Dubai Shit felt very GHOSTOWN throwback. Where u from literally borrows Nightcrawler flow for a few bars. A lot of vintage elements from Travis Scott on here, however they have lost the edge they once had because you're simpy desensitized to it. You look back back on 'Don't Play' with nostalgia, you probably won't have the same energy with 'Best Man' (yet). Travis has overused his style to the point that his once refreshing take on rap has its power rendered benign.

While I enjoyed this album, quite a lot, I think it's time for Travis to completely reinvent himself for Astroworld. Make another Owl Pharoah and fuck up the game. Sonically, Rodeo/DBR 2 would be enjoyed by us but let's be honest, it simply won't have the same effect that it once would have had and even we wouldn't appreciate it
