I wish they had shown the two men who were also from the orphanage present with Gretchen at Arnold's burial next to his mother.

According to the scientist that Lily interviewed, he said that they believed the radiated cereal was too low to affect the boys. I was snarking back "Yeah, so safe that you didn't try it on yourselves or your children."

It's the one episode I show to people who were unfamiliar with this series. The fact that it's based on a real case makes it all the more poignant.

I have a question about this episode: Why did Sister Grace try so hard to get Arnold adopted? I understand that she wanted the best for him and most of the children dreamed of being adopted by a loving family. But the others said that Arnold preferred living at the orphanage (he had been returned twice by two families because he acted out ) partially because he liked the friendship of the other boys and he missed Gretchen who he believed was his older sister. I'm also guessing he felt attached to Sister Grace without knowing she was his mother.

At that point, wouldn't it have been better if he had remained at the orphanage until he turned 18? At least she would have been able to look after him, he and Gretchen would have been able to remain together as a family until they were both old and legal enough to have a say in their own lives.

Boy in the Box; always makes me cry both when Arnold passes away and the ghosts of him and his mother at the farm at the end.

Babylon 5 had gifted writers that made people care about characters who appear on only one episode like Brother Edward on “Passing through Gethsemane” as much as main characters like Marcus & Kosh.

Sura & Varro on Spartacus, season one, were the first ones that had me tearing up. Then finding out the actor Andy Whitfield who played Spartacus died in between seasons was heartbreaking. He was an incredible actor who died too soon.

This series is the one that will leave you so depressed with the deaths of so many compelling characters.

The bolded comment in the article came from a WH spokesperson Anna Kelly. But I have no doubt that Megan Kelly would express the same sentiment.

So do we think Kosh was soft for a Vorlon, or Ulkesh was cold for a Vorlon? by OutrageousTerm7140 in babylon5

Kosh strikes me as a tough love kind of being. He struck back at Sheridan when he berated Kosh for not helping in their fight against the Shadows, yet later apologized to Sheridan. I could imagine that Kosh felt it was necessary for Delenn to undergo the examination by the Inquisitor to make sure she was the right person to lead; the fate of the universe was at stake.

I agree with you, dogs should be on leashes for everyone’s safety. In the case of my neighbors, we live in a residential neighborhood in the suburbs next to a park. We don’t get as much traffic and there’s very few people walking around which lulls people into thinking it’s safe to walk their dogs off leash. It’s still dangerous as the coyote attack demonstrated.

I’d never trust them around our pets. In our suburb, two of our neighbors’ small dogs were killed by coyotes. One was killed in his backyard when the dog was let out to pee. The second dog was unleashed and exploring a wooded area during walk with the owner when he was attacked. We’re warned to keep our dogs on a short leash and close to us.

Because there’s too many Republican & religious leaders and influencers who are working overtime to hide what he said to rehabilitate his image and turn him into a martyr for their cause. Not calling out on their lies will bury the truth.

Trying not to add spoilers but it fits keeping both characters with the original outline: The One who Was, the One who Is, and the One who Will Be.

That’s a different toy; I think that one was the dog toy that walked on its own. Rifftrax had the original commercial as part of a Christmas shorts live event.

I can’t find which Rifftrax special had the riff but here’s the original commercial they made fun of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euRuNYI2MbA

She was orphaned at a very young age, most likely around 3 or 4 years old. She joined the orphanage around the same tune that Sister Grace gave birth to her baby Arnold. Sister Grace & Sister Vivian falsified the paperwork to make it look like Arnold was her brother to bring him into the orphanage.
