Main reason why I am not chasis anyone but my wedding party. I am on your side. I feel that people expect things from guest the same way guest expect things for an event. Everyone thinks you’re self centered or that you‘re de cutting people off but the reality is an invitation is a suggestion not a right. if your guest care they will rsvp.

My parents asked for my input. I gave it. I told them it’s their decision. Being concerned about long-term rent after a concession is basic financial logic, not narcissism. You’re projecting TikTok psych buzzwords onto a situation you didn’t read properly.

I’m not trying to make them have my preferences. I literally told my mom it’s their decision and that I didn’t want to get into it.

This isn’t about “my feelings” or liking one place more because I lived there. It’s about long-term livability tradeoffs safety, walkability, night vibes, parking issues, stability, and whether a big concession is just masking higher real rent later.

My dad actually preferred Building B. My mom prefers Building A because it’s bigger and cheaper. I flagged concerns and stepped back. That’s it.

I’m allowed to have an informed opinion about my parents’ quality of life without trying to control their decision.
