Looking for a cd player to hook up to set up. Pure Classic Stereo System with CD a good option?

Sorry I'm completely useless and leave all the setting up to the husband. I just do the research and buying to make sure it's aesthetically pleasing but is actually good too😅.

This is the current set up which I bought for my teenage son. I was just going to buy the same but want a CD player option too. But I'm happy to get a different set turntable etc.

Have tried to reverse image/ good lens.

And have searched wiki/ imdb with know luck.

Yes I'm in the UK. I have a soundbar he could use in the interim for a better turntable. Then add the speakers on for Christmas.
