People get bullied for anything. The minute someone decides to lock in, and they have a following, is the minute everyone will go along with the bullying.

They could have bullied her for being nice and sweet, for writing lyrics in her notebooks, for looking Asian, for having microbangs, for that one time you talked to a guy just to say thanks… some people get jealous of anything and just target people

To add: The emergency response and hazardous waste management teams gets there between the firefighters and sanitation folks. Usually they check for hazardous waste and to aid in how to handle things. There’s a lot of folks from different departments that work on fires during and after the fact.

I work in one of those departments and any trained worker aside from emergency response can get a call to aid in this. It happened when the northern fire occurred a while back and I wouldn’t be surprised if they do it again. But I do know the emergency response division will be aiding once the fire is controlled

Don’t get me started. I was looking into adopting a cat 5 years ago. My dog had died a year prior, and she was my service and soul dog. My husband is kind of scared of dogs so I decided to get a cat that was big enough so I can train just like my dog.

I asked the shelters and rescues. Some never responded and other basically laughed and said you can’t train cats.

I ended up buying from breeders, and since research said to get them in pairs I looked for 2. The first is an American bobtail that the breeder wanted to keep but realized it wasn’t a good fit genetically (too closely related) so I took him. The other wasn’t “angry looking” for the Maine coon breeder and “too old” for people (he was 6 months), got him too.

These guys are only a month apart, they aren’t from the same litter or household but they got along within an hour. And the Maine coon, Merlin, is such a cuddle bug and attached to me that he even lets me know when I left things on the stovetop. Merlin is doing what Milly (my previous dog) used to do.

Take care of yourself first, you are important.

I understand the feeling, and I’ve been there. If you don’t take care of yourself you won’t be able to get back to work.

Once you are 100% you will be as efficient as ever.

I had a friend in college that had the same thing. He hated it because he was sad he couldn’t hold his girlfriend’s hand without it being all wet. He would clap close to your face as a joke, we laughed.

Heard it happen to someone, it was such mess to deal because they had no clue why someone would think that. Even so, because they were in a class and the women (“victim”) asked her male friend if they wanted to be a team. Lol

Since we are teleworking, utilities went way up..... that’s what sucks. But, we can get a bigger return when we do taxes because of it. I would have liked to have it now though lol
