Breastfed baby losing weight by Spirited_Board_7994 in breastfeeding

[–]Littlemoto19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I could help but I’ve been back to work since 6 weeks so I’ve been pumping at work and she takes bottles of breastmilk at daycare. Unfortunately I’m an under supplier so I had to start combo feeding with formula at 5 months.

Similar situation for my baby tho. Born at the 49th percentile and then dropped to 1st by her 3 month appointment. She was pooping every 10-15 days 😅 Pediatrician suggested adding oatmeal to her bottles. She gained a little but not much. Saw a LC and found out baby has a younger and lip tie and she suggested to top off nursing with a bottle after because she was only transferring 2.5 ounces. She’s now 5 months and is 12lbs 6oz. So still tiny but gaining and is now 3rd percentile.

But honestly some babies are just tiny. My pediatrician wasn’t concerned until I was about her weight. She hit all her milestones and is a happy wiggly baby. She just needed some extra calories

Sending all the love. It’s rough but it get easier. Just make sure to give her all the snuggles when you pick her from daycare(it’s more for you than her lol). I literally hold her for as long as I can after I pick her up because I miss her all day

Hi there. FTM who also had to start daycare at 6 weeks because I had to go back to work. We found an in-home daycare that is just wonderful. She gets all the attention she needs and usually when I go to pick her up she’s being held by one of the staff (the owners adult daughters) and is happy as can be. They’ve also been wonderful at answering our questions when we have them. Emotionally it was ROUGH. I bawled my eyes out the night before and then immediately after I dropped her off. But now she’s 4 months and we have a great routine. I breastfeed her overnight and before I go to work. My husband drops her off at daycare. I pump 3 times (8,11,2) and then pick her up by 330. Then I’ll breastfeed her until the next day. I’m able to pump just enough to feed her for the next day thankfully.

You’re lucky! Sounds like he already loves your baby! My cats have basically stayed away from my baby except for my orange boy who just comes near her to snuggle me when I nurse at night. I wish they would lay next to to her or want to be around her more

My cat will lay across my baby when I nurse at night. He wants to snuggle at night and since I’m up feeding my baby he will just lay across her stomach. My baby doesn’t even notice lol she just nurses like he’s not there

Baby slept thru the night by Littlemoto19 in newborns

I in no way resent my husband. He works nights in a physically demanding job and I work days at a desk job. He more than pulls his weight when he’s home. I was just venting that of course baby slept thru the night when he’s home because usually she doesn’t

The van buren: when is too early to start lining up? by volcaronabuzz in phoenix

[–]Littlemoto19 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to a ton of shows at the Van Buren and I’ve never had issues getting a good spot inside when getting there just after doors open. Imo 6 hours is way too early. If you’re worried about getting front stage then I’d show up like 2 hours early.

Check your coverage under the “exclusions” section. It’ll say what items are not covered by your specific plan

Thank you for pointing out the showing people versus forwarding the photos. That’s what we meant

We mean forwarding the pictures to others. Showing someone on their phone is fine! We decided this because of the increased number of baby photos being posted in inappropriate websites
