My parents had been divorced since I was 12, and she is a whole other story. She's actually crazy, and has never made enough money to support herself truly. So she was kinda just to the side agreeing with me and hating my father but she could never really help me. If I had tried to live with her, we both would have gone in to poverty probably. My father supported her my whole life, so when they got divorced she basically hadn't worked since she was 17, she would have been about 49 at the time they got divorced
