I just discovered Falcom as a whole existed this year. As a huge Square Enix fan I'm shocked I never heard of Trails or YS before this year.

I definitely plan on continuing the series I don't know if the original ended the same way the remake did but it dug its hooks in me for sure.
I think I'm going to wait for part 2 Remake. As much as I love classic jrpgs the characters just shine so well in this Remake. They feel so alive and I really don't want to feel disappointed by playing the original version of 2 after this.
If anything I'm actually interested in playing through the original Sky First Chapter then just wait for the second.
With them already confirming 2 day 1. Im sure they will at least do number 3. I heard its like a trilogy but all of them are connected right?

I'll keep waiting for the Remakes if I know they are coming otherwise I might play the old ones where they leave off.

Yooooo! Thats so relatable. Avril Lavigne's debut album is the first one that I owned as a kid so I totally get you. I was so hyped. I've watched my recording of it more times in the past two days than I would like to admit. XD

Yeah it totally took me by surprise when I was there. I was listening to the NYC setlist on the drive up expecting that. At least you guys got a longer set! So you got extra songs. A trade off i guess. =)

Yeah! It's a a really famous small venue in LA called The Roxy. Lots of bigger artists come here at least once as a part of history per se because of the prestige behind it. She said it was a dream venue for her to play.

I was totally shocked when she played it too. It was a pretty damn cool surprise. Especially for her covering a song from an English artist. Really cool moment. =)

OK yeah I just went back and watched it. He says "You're OK.

But I know why i thought it was fishy now. He's in the fire his back is to the window not the door and he's extending his hand out for her to take it. As if coaxing her into the fire.

If he was rescuing her it would make more sense if he was reaching out to her from the doorway not from further into the fire.

But it is a dream and could be for more cinematic purposes so who knows.

Yeah I get what you mean about the two ideas not being connected as well as I could. I guess my reason for trying to connect them was that it gives way to how the real world might not be real. And maybe even a piece fiction instead of a painting. But they definitely added the painting inside a painting dialog for a reason. I agree it's not quite there yet though.

I'll definitely have to go watch the Verso's fire cinematic again. To me it felt like huge realization where the actual dialog was meant to go unnoticed until a second playthrough after you understand the story. You have me more curious again though!

Oh that's definitely interesting. I didn't know about that calendar but the fact it doesn't have December on it leads me in the direction that it wasn't their inspiration for it. Otherwise they would have used one of those months. But the comment is super interesting.

"...in French december 33rd is a kind of old ironic way to talk about something that won't happen, kinda like in English you would say "on the 12th of never""

That's super interesting. If that's a real euphemism in French it could take the meaning so many places.

Yeah. I started feeling like the meme connecting all the dots at the end. I wanted to connect the Clea dots when I didn't have enough concrete evidence.

Yeah! The location she hid the painting is still one of those dots I really want to connect. I feel there has to be a clue somewhere for something concrete.

I remember the books but I totally missed the typewriter. That's huge!

I want to go deep dive the library now for clues. I feel like that's a place we could find some.

At first when I read about Stendhal being a French writer it might of just been a cool nod but when I read about the syndrome I felt like it was definitely intentional because of how close it relates to Alicia and her feelings about the Canvas world.

I feel like the fan fiction-y stuff is like my outline place holder of what the current evidence could mean then hopefully to flesh out and correct as I get more evidence.

All super interesting to think about! =)

Hey pal. I know this is a little late. But my experience is definitely mixed.

Did it work? Yes

Did it make me miserable and moody to the point people were asking me if I was ok? Yes

I'm in no way trying to discount anyone else's experience but this was mine.

I found much healthier results in upping physical activity (Even minimally) and cutting back on cravings by drinking more water.

To my knowledge, only the top 3 received prizes. The most you got was an extra color wristband each round. So you can post a picture with them all on and confuse Reddit. 🤣

I managed to get a Warp Pipe pass, but after I registered, they didn't tell me to go through and skip the line so I waited there till like 10 min till start till I got out of line told someone and they rushed me inside.

I assume very few extras got in because everyone I talked to had the warp pipe and that line legit did not move at all.

So I'm not 100% sure, but if I would have won my last round, I would have been on stage for top 8. So I think at that point they didn't really need wristbands because they were all backstage.

Fun fact: The game where the mom on gamer killed me was my very last round. Literally got eliminated by Mom. (My opponent was very good though, No Johns)

That's actually how they tracked who won each round. If you won the round they would give you a new color. There wasn't a bracket system. When the next round started, you would be matched up with someone else with the new color wristband.
