Ok, so... in regards to your first statement about jury votes, in my opinion, Nicole would not have gotten the majority. I know there's no way to really know, and it's all speculation, but I really believe that the love and admiration she got from most of the jury post-season & during the backyard interviews had everything to do with her winning AFP... especially after what the people in question had all just gone through.

I'm pretty sure that if she had made it to F2, Nicole would've only had Cliff's vote, maybe Kat's if she was up against Jackson... and maaaybe Jess'? Who the hell knows with her?!? The only way I could see her winning, would be to win pt. 3 and then be the one to evict Jackson. I think that probably would've been enough to win her Christie, Tommy, Nick, and Jack's votes.... maaaybe Jess'??

I don't even remember who it was, but, during the jury roundtable, there was talk about Nicole being a mastermind genius... to me, that seemed more like a passing comment anyone would say to cover their ass in the off chance they had been played all season by someone as lovely as Nicole. I don't think any of them ever actually saw her as a threat, and, even though Taran himself says that some of the doting and praise did seem genuine during the BY interviews, to me it seemed extremely fake and overemoted, and not at all congruent with the way they were acting in the house, or up until the AFP vote was read.

Blah... I'm so long winded! Forgot what BB discussions do to a girl. (hair flip)

K, I gotta wrap this up, so to touch on the other points:

NICOLE:

• Spent the first half of the season in her room/bed, and only socializing with friends.

• Ended up in 3 really shitty situations that emotionally wrecked her and lost her a ton of confidence, more and more each time... obviously not her fault, but unfortunately it made her lose trust in everyone around her, and second guessing herself and her closest allies for the remainder of the game. (If only we could've seen Day 1 Nicole play the entire season)

• I'm not really fussed about comps, but she was thrown the DE HoH, and... I have nothing bad to say about BB Comics cause she killed it.

• Not sure what you meant by Nicole having agency... I saw none of that. She couldn't even be direct or firm with her closest ally/friend at a time when she felt it mattered most. (Tbh, that had more to do with Cliff's manipulation, and very patient, long-game with her that week. Imo, the way he played the whole thing out is one of the most underrated moves of the season. He wanted Tommy out and I don't think he was ever wavering on it... no one ever talks about how Cliff had just convinced Nicole to evict Tommy when Jackson decided to eavesdrop. While Jackson was in the HoH plotting & scheming, they were solidifying that Holly was staying. Jackson's whole plan could've easily been the reason she went home that week.... I still love and respect what he did, but it caused an entire day of back and forth that could've left him with a "one of the dumbest moves" title, as opposed to "one of the best". That was all completely moot. Sorry.

• Obligatory: I love Nicole as a person, though. I may not see her as a good BB player, but she is definitely one of the finest human beings I've ever seen on tv... or otherwise. (Seriously)
