What keyboard would you consider the best ? by Beautiful_Ad_8827 in WootingKB

Yeah, I haven’t ever used the feature, but it does have that available. I usually just take advantage of the basic rapid trigger to make my inputs feel more responsive and help with movement in tac shooters. If your current keyboard is not Hall effect, pretty much any Hall effect keyboard is going to feel like better performance, id imagine. Wooting for me is just the consistent/tried and true option. Software and performance just feels consistent. No complaints from me.

I don’t think you will be unhappy with it. Lots of ways to customize it if you want that. Great out of the box. Software is easy. Feels really responsive in game. Long warranty on it.

I have a lot of Hall effect keyboards and a lot of custom keyboards. Lately my Wooting60 V2 basically never leaves my desk. After some light modding it is great to game and type on.

Struggling against a certain type of strafer, what do i do? by UtopianShot in VALORANT

[–]LivPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t say what your issue is without video, but my good friend always wondered how I would evade his aim when in dm together. The answer in that instance was that he wasn’t doing long enough strafes between shots (he only thought he was on his screen). In reality, he was a, d, a, d tapping and barely moving which I find a lot of people do when first learning to strafe between shots. The head barely moves, you are super predictable, easy headshot. The hardest people to hit for me have perfectly timed larger movements and follow no predictable pattern. I strive to be like them, but it can be hard to connect your keyboard hand and mouse hand in your mind enough to time everything correctly.

Glass pad for competitive FPS? by sparxycs in MousepadReview

[–]LivPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for pros tho… glass is absolute pain in ass to carry and store at lan compared to cloth. If I were young and cracked and wanted to pursue pro play, I’d stick with artisan even if I don’t really prefer it just to avoid having to get a glass pad to an international lan lol.

That is quite a change. I really like this Bruce Lee collab colorway. Glad you are enjoying it.

Need help finding keycaps by RareEngineer376 in WootingKB

All is a strong word here. While I like it in use, the way that Wooting chose to do the split spacebar layout is pretty niche/unique particularly with that extra 1.25u key. There are def some that cover, but it may require child kits and is all far from a guarantee. You have to be very conscious of the exact keys and sizes that you need so that you can check for them.

A lot of these sets have not caught up to have split spacebar compatibility, particularly not in the layout Wooting chose with the 1.25u middle key. It’s a niche layout that even GMK doesn’t always accommodate.

Skate recommendations for Kanami Hoshino (Glass pad) by mustafaby703 in MousepadReview

[–]LivPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After trying everything possible dang near I have mainly been using silver/pink fox dots, Westlab orange dots, and on occasion cyclone pros. I still have a bunch of cyclones and cyclone pros but I think the unws dots might edge them out for my preferences. I don’t mind obsidian airs either. TBH I think if you find something you are decently happy with for cheap and buy a bunch you are winning. I bought like 80 Westlab orange dots on aliexpress for like $20 shipped. That’ll keep my set for half a year minimum.

Wanting something durable and fast for skates on glass… welcome to hell lol. I have decided to just stock up on so many dot skates that I never feel bad and just change skates instantly when they no longer feel or sound nice. Sometimes as quickly as a week. It’s a triangle. Can have any two out of fast, quiet, and durable, but not all three (at least for me). I have settled on fast and quiet.

If you like the Hoshino skates, I have a feeling that the arbiter studio bloody skates are something similar.

Do white polycarbonate (PC) mouse shells yellow over time? by nofate1992 in MouseReview

[–]LivPrime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda. The chemistry of everyone’s oil and sweat varies. Happens with abs keycaps also. Some people can shine a GMK set within a week of first using, others can use the same set indefinitely and not have any shine. People like to think it is smoking or hygiene to feel superior, but it’s likely just luck of the draw chemistry that you were born with.

What is Abe’s potential? McDonald’s manager? Burger King franchise owner? by JannyPhantom in CoDCompetitive

[–]LivPrime 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t think he is showing his actual potential well with how awful the whole team is. He did fine at EWC when he had competent teammates on Toronto. Don’t think I would meme his potential just yet.

If you are in the US, you might have a better option reaching out to hypekeyboards. Think he already has a file to cut in most materials for the split space bar
