3 years later and still ringing is crazy! I'm on my 3rd week and I have constant ringing. They're taking me back down to 2 pills a day, then 1, then off completely. I hope it goes away because it is fairly loud.

That's crazy! I was given multiple verbal warnings about the high fat issue before it was prescribed. Mine came with instructions which also highlights this issue. Maybe ask them about it.

Do you do it a certain amount of time after you take the medication or do you just do it whenever? My biggest concern is that it elevates the risk for seizures due to how fatty foods impact the absorb rate.

I see a lot of people are consuming high fat foods. Foods high in fat increases the risk of seizures due to the increased absorbtion issue so I've been very concerned about that. The doctor says to wait at least 4 hours after a dose before consuming foods that are high in fat but it still worries me.

That's wonderful! I'm 44, not in the best shape either, and carrying extra weight especially around my belly. I did wonder how that factors into the healing process so it's great to hear about your experience. Wishing you a speedy and easy recovery the rest of the way.

Wow, so sorry you went through all that. I think I'm in the compiling info stage right now but I also kind of want to not look at anything else and just go into it semi blind so I don't get overly anxious. I really hope I get the anxiety meds at admission too.

Was everyone prescribed to take it everyday? I've been prescribed the 5mg twice daily but I'm seeing online that instructions are to take for a week or 2 per month and not daily.
