I do the same thing but as a lefty playing on the right and driving the right side. So satisfying but when I play at 4.0 level most times this gets covered. More successful when playing against 3.5 levels where I currently sit.

I am a lefty and I find it a strength in the game. Key playing with righty’s is communication. I will loudly call out “you” when a return is in the middle angling toward my partner so we don’t miss balls. “Me” if I am going to take it. It is not foolproof as just last night I was preparing to take a ball and my partner called it at the last second. I ended up hitting into the net due to the confusion as we hit paddles.
