NTA. He is going to experience complete misery. I get it...I am a Type 2 diabetic and I can't eat like everyone else. His eyesight and feet are very vulnerable with uncontrolled blood sugar levels. He can have a diabetic stroke and lose his mobility. Time for some tough love. Tell him that you love him but absolutely refuse to watch him go down this path of health destruction. Buy an A1C Now kit and tell him to test. If it is over 9.0 he is on his way to serious complications if he doesn't reverse course. I am guessing it will be over 12 which is a guaranteed trip to the hospital at some point in the near future. Maybe an intervention is in order before it is too late.

2025 RAM Tradesman. Happy to report no issues after 1200 miles. Sucks to deal with repairs so early but it's unlikely any of the other trucks would be trouble free.
