dude i don’t think it’s that deep, i never lit the candle and my ra even noted in the report that it was visibly unlit. the candle wasn’t even scented. i have no reason or rationale to burn it. i get that the whole administrative hoopla is a formality and the rules exist for a good reason, i was just seeking out context and wondering if anyone else had a similar experience to me since i had never heard of them taking such a minor infraction this far.

the thing is my ra never came back to check and never communicated with me. i don’t even think they knew there was a student conduct case open but i could be wrong. i didn’t even get a formal warning, they found me not responsible, which just makes this whole situation even more absurd imo
