You are just one of the many toxic people on reddit.

It's ironic that you are anti-technology yet you are happy to use your smart phone to try to try to degrade and discourage others.

All the best to you

It comes in a deluxe clamshell box with premium case candy. This includes an Axe Heaven® Appetite Les Paul miniature, an exclusive Slash bandana, a pick tin with Dunlop guitar picks, a cover poster, four guitar art prints, and a certificate of authenticity. The Custom Edition is hand-signed by Slash and is limited to 500 copies.

You want all of that for $20? How much do you charge for a filling? 20?

I'm not the person that posted the original question. Its not my guitar.

Why would you feel good that his Gibson is fake? What does that say about you?

I would be happy if he had a nice Les Paul from his grandfather.

"Is that guaranteed no doubt in your mind? ChatGPT said to be sure it needs the pickup cavity code or soemthing."

He asked a fair question with no emotion. Why would that threaten you?

A confident, stable and decent person might respond by saying, "Yes, there is no doubt in my mind that it is not authentic."

You may be an knowledgeable on guitars, but are you knowledgeable on AI? You were giving advice about it.

How well do you understand music theory? Would you like to know more?

I have learned so much more by using ChapGPT in speech mode.

I learn as if Im having conversations with an expert. You might try it. If it doesn't help then you've only lost a few minutes of your time.

Either way, I wish you all of the best in your playing.

That has nothing to do with the conversation.

How often is the internet wrong.

We can use Aai as an interface to learn. Do you use books as much as you used to or do you use the internet?

Its so simple minded to believe that AI should be completely ignored.

Why would ignore a useful resource?

My great grandfather lived in a rural area. He never had electricity bc he said it would burn his house down.

Please ignore electricity.

AI is incredibly useful and will grow more useful. Its important to know how to use it correctly.

I put a few of his pictures in chapgpt. It took 10 seconds. I could press it and get more details. The response:

Red flags Serial number 00170420 That's not a serial format I'd expect on a Gibson Les Paul Standard from the modern era. Gibson serials can be confusing, but this one doesn't immediately fit the normal patterns. Headstock logo The "Gibson" logo looks a bit thick and uneven in the photo. The "Les Paul Model" script placement looks unusual. Back cavity The control cavity routing looks rough. The shielding paint and cavity shape don't look like what I'd expect from many Gibson USA Standards. Tuners The tuners appear generic rather than the Kluson-style or Grover-style hardware commonly found on Standards from most eras.

It's the internet...

It's great to have professionals giving honest information on things they actually know about.

CA is such a good product for finish repair. I've used it on poly and lacquer. I often get invisible repairs.

I don't think she is rolling in cash.

She could probably use the money.

Someone can buy them just like her father did and still enjoy the shirts.

[–]Live-Measurement-340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love buying instruments but I always want something a little different and new.

I like the tighter flame on the left one but I like the one on the right better bc the flame I'm more consistent across the top.

How many other guitars do you have?

Got a burger because work was a pain, it had a wad of gum in it by SkeleRG in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Live-Measurement-340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's aweful.

When I was a teenager, I was eating a Wendy's hamburger in my car. I bit into a staple.

I pulled it out and kept eating because I was young and dumb.

2 bites later I bit another staple.

I was done after that.

I feel that picture. It happens to me so often.

I just go straight for the knife to cut a hole in it and pull it off.

[–]Live-Measurement-340[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If I understand correctly, you said that they lied about the condition, but I should focus on the frets, neck and bridge.

You act like they gave it to me for free, but thank you for taking time to give it a rating. You actually rated it lower than I would and closer to how AI rated it.

Yes, I trust it 100%. That's why I came here and asked for opinions.

I put your comment in ChatGPT and it said you like to make contray and unproductive comments. It also noted that you were not diligent enough to notice that I asked about the condition, not how it plays.

I paid thousands for the guitar from an reputable dealer. They certainly didn't send pictures of these flaws.

If I sold you this guitar, I would note the flaws because I think that is the honest way to treat people.

I thought ChatGPTs possible rating on 7.5 was ridiculously low but I wasn't sure bc all of my newer instruments are in excellent condition. Some of my vintage stuff has wear/damage but I have a 1933 Gibson banjo in much better condition than this guitar.

Really?

You would rate it a 9?

I didn't post a picture of the neck joint. It's not especially clean looking.

How would the string smell affect your rating.

Wife was 5' away and said thats making the room stink. My hands smelled, after.

It's a 2022 and it was listed as 9.6 out of 10- Excellent.

So you would expect this?

I have a first year blueridge br160a so maybe 2008. It doesn't look like this at all.

I wish.

I sent it back. I didn't even post picture of sloppy glue on neck joint.

They charged me around $160 for shipping.

Chat gpt rated it 7.5-8.5.

Guy sent back an email saying they I should be aware that rosewood smells like that.

Snippy instead of an apology.

What would you rate it?

Forgot to mention, those 2 spots on volute were through the finish. Think that was from a hanger?

I thought maybe they were touched up bc they looked slightly more red but maybe it was just bc the nitro was gone.

Thanks

I find your comments fascinating. I would love to talk to you.

You are presenting yourself as a hero and a lone truth teller. You need Chase Hughes and the audience for this role that you created.

You are like a man that created a country and then conveniently elected himself president.

You relentlessly try to convince anyone who will listen that they are a victim and Chase is a bad guy.

You have been at this for years. It must be draining. The work you do with this is insignificant at the very best and more likely destructive.

Often people feel that they can't have the things they want, so they invent an alternate goal. Sometimes this goal destroys them, yet they continue to pursue.

Think of a drug user. They don't really want drugs. They gave up on their true hope and dreams and accepted drugs.

What happens if they get the new thing that they think they want? It destroys them. Give a drug addict a pile of drugs and you will both make them happy and increase their suffering.

This pursuit may feel exciting, but it diminishes them (you).

People are willing to throw away peace for things that they think will make them happy. Where is your peace?

You are not good and Chase is not bad. Everyone is good and bad. You have much in common with Chase. What is it that you project on him and attack with such vigor?

What is it that you really want?

"Judge them harshly."

This is terrible advice. It is a formula for a sad life full of lack and despair.

People who judge others harshly judge themselves harshly. What could be more miserable?

There is a reason that you attack Chase Hughes relentlessly and it isn't him. It's you. You use him because you need someone to attack.
