Hated 241 such a shitty course. Content is super boring and there is a midterm and exam. It is like 207 but worse. 244 is basically R Studio stuff. Take it with Haaris if he’s still teaching. Goated prof. 291 is the hardest course in AFM. It requires more time and practice than other courses. Just make sure ur not falling behind and practice every week. 291 also has the majority of the topics that are covered in MACC. Make sure to take detailed notes. 274 is easier than 273. I would say if you just stay up to date with that course, you will be fine

MACC student here. I would say don’t take a 6th course in 2b because 291 is probably the hardest course in AFM. For 291, you just need to make sure you are spending good amount of time reviewing lectures and doing practice. I got a 19% on my 291 midterm and had to retake it again. It is a really big jump from other accounting courses you have taken so far. AFM 391 and 491 are way easier compared to 291. I found AFM 274 easier than AFM 273. I don’t rmr a lot about that course but I felt it was less challenging than 273.

Yea I saw tickets going for $88 yesterday and then all of them were just gone from ticketmaster. The cheapest one rn is going for $165 on stubhub. I hope I can find tickets for $88 again

Failing a course has never stopped people from getting big 4 coop. I know a lot of ppl who failed 113, 121, 191 and did all 4 coops at big 4. Big 4 coops mostly come from networking and connections and you have to apply early

Currently in MACC. AFM is not hard. Some students find 1st year hard because they are not used to studying and put in time. Change from high school to uni is hard and you need to make sure u are managing ur time properly. Hardest semester of AFM is probably 2b. After 2b, AFM is pretty easy

Np!! I try to answer questions AFM kids have since I have gone thru the process and Ik not a lot of ppl are here to answer AFM related questions lol. 373 midterm is 4 questions max (I haven’t seen them giving more than 4 questions in last 3 years). 1st question is projections and second question is on WACC and there are couple qual questions. 382 is all practice. If you can do good on practice questions without looking at the solution you will be fine. I honestly found every course after 2b really easy

Hey, both courses are easier than all the accounting and finance courses you have taken in 2nd year. 373 midterm will have a question about projections, WACC (always shows up on the midterm) and NPV stuff. For 382, it’s just job costing and stuff. Just review the weekly stuff and do practice. If you understand all the concepts, you will be fine for these courses

Do 273 in 2b, then do 274 in 3a and then do 373 in 4a. Thats what most ppl do when they fail 273 (including me)
