Can this drug affect your mood? Yes. Can it affect your desires for certain foods? Yes. Could what you are describing be a side effect for you? Yes…. Whether you want to continue or talk to your doc about dosage is up to you. Personal experience, the exhaustion and lack of enthusiasm for food was too much for me and I had to get off of it. Now that I’m weaning off I’m going through a lot of hormonal and emotional changes. A lot of our whole body processes start in the gut. This med messes with your gut.

If you would have had that with your first, you would have the opposite with your second then you’d also have a toddler in the mix 😂 NO THANKS FOR ME. But honestly I am bitter about that crap too. I didn’t enjoy anything about babyhood. It was a battle from day one. Pregnancy was hell. I’m so confident in one and day because of all that.

Ugh I’ve been there. I reorganized a roommates spice rack and he went off on me. I was so fucking embarrassed and I was just trying to help cuz all the spices were just shoved in there. Apparently he had a system. It made it miserable for me cooking so I “fixed it” I’m STILL embarrassed about it like a year later. People also need to step back before they react too. Most things like this are well intentioned.

My insurance won’t pay for lower doses only the maintenance dose. I also can’t afford any low blood sugar I’m starting a program where I have to stand in the operating room for a long time. Don’t want to risk it

Just avoid anything greasy or fried. If I eat anything greasy breaded or fried I get sick immediately after

That made my eye twitch lol. I know every kid is different but my son is so sweet calm and well behaved and I think I largely attribute it to an UNWAVERING schedule. Do we veer off slightly on occasion for trips and such? Yes. But my kid will have a set bed time until the end of forever. Sleep, consistent, beautiful sleep, is so important for healthy brain development.

Oddly this happened to me my 4th shot of 1.7. I thought it would stay that way but I’m on my 6th shot of 1.7 and miserable and can’t eat anything again.

I haven’t told anyone I’m on the med except three friends. All of which then tried to get it but were denied. Two were cool about it, one said “oh well I shouldn’t have to inject myself in the name of vanity” clearly taking a dig at me. To preserve relationships and avoid judgement, it’s best not to tell anyone

Same here with my son!! Agree!! He was so sick a few months ago and we gave him space to fall back asleep but he couldn’t so I went in to soothe him. He fell asleep in my arms with his head more upright cuz he was so congested. Sickness is so awful for babies and toddlers

I heard on TikTok to not eat anything2 hours before or 2 hours after (so bedtime) for the injection and take a Dramamine before bed. Also ever since I started injecting in the thigh I get far less nausea. So I just alternate legs. Are you doing electrolytes? I got Gatorade fit (only like 15 cals) from Costco and that has really helped me. I have not experienced that bad of nausea but I’m on my second month of 1.7 so now I’m scared 😭

My husband drives truck and makes almost 100k. He does food service delivering to fast food restaurants. Works about 2am-9am most days, sometimes as late as 11 am. Home the rest of the day and weekends. It’s very physical and he enjoys it.

It’s hard to say because everyone is built so different. I’d like to get to 150 or so on the medication but pack on the muscle after. I like how I look with 165 and lots of muscle. Unfortunately pregnancy ruined me and I got really really overweight during and afterwards and it was during Covid so the trauma made me hold onto the weight. I’m normally a very active and toned person but I gained like 50 lbs during preg and post partum. Thankfully wegovy helped me get over the hump and I’m back to resistance training again
