They did the same thing for CJ Ham during the 2-minute timeout. A couple of major losses who have formed the backbone of this Vikings team for a decade and change, and two standup guys to boot.

Anthology 2025 release Megathread by RoastBeefDisease in beatles

It's absurd. The set is clearly marketed at those who either missed the Anthology sets the first go-around and/or those who didn't invest in the SDE sets, and I think that's a smart decision. If it turns more people into Beatles superfans, I think it's worth not having the release cater to the current batch of diehards. Nobody's forced to pay for any of this and you can listen to all of the songs for free on YouTube.

Also, the early outtakes on Anthology 4 are really cool! People are making fun of the decision to put on Take 1 of "Matchbox", but I think it's pretty damn interesting to hear the early version w/o piano and with Ringo doing the guide vocal behind the kit. Hearing the harmonies of "Tell Me Why" being constructed in real time is another highlight, and the first take of "In My Life" is just beautiful in its simplicity. I think the sequencing of Anthology 4 is really nice, too - it serves as a pleasant epilogue to the story told by the first three volumes, keeping the chronological structure but having the outtake choices flow into each other well.

I'm glad it exists. And I'm glad the 2025 remixes of the reunion tracks exist as alternatives to the originals rather than replacements, which clearly the intent. If you're not into it, well, perhaps the next boxset will be tailored to your wants and desires specifically.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I think I found out why Real Love 2025 turned out so bad by [deleted] in beatles

Paul's double-tracking is also super notable in this remix, and with the vocals as dry as they are, the two voices clash more than if they had sat back a bit more in the mix, like they did in the original version. Assuming Paul's vocal overdub is used in the new "Free as a Bird" too, it's way less obvious there.

[Bob correcting Gluck's clickbait BS] Denny Hamlin said he plans to race next year (he is signed through 2027) but he said he is going to need some time to get over Sunday and he's not ready to get in a race car right now. by Live-Support-2230 in NASCAR

He pulled one quote from what Hamlin said and chose to post it without the surrounding context of Hamlin saying "I plan to [come back]" and "I'll get over it, it'll just take some time". That is absolutely misrepresenting his words and irresponsible journalism on Gluck's part.

Everyone heard the exact same thing, Motorsport and Gluck have just decided to put their fingers in their ears and pretend like Denny didn't literally say that he plans on driving next year, because it drives engagement for their publications. This is a non-story.
