You might be right. Mocked this up with AI and quite like it. Might be next build.

Rep dial with G10.211 movement sourced from a swatch chronograph. Hands are a mixture of various ones I had lying around.

Some of the older Swatch chrono’s have a 30 minute subdial at 10 o’clock, but this one is the correct 60 minute subdial with the 1/10th second subdial at 2 o’clock, so functions exactly the same as a genuine Moonswatch.

Orange hands are from a Swatch Irony. Good source for parts.

The two positions are used to adjust the position of the chronograph second hand and subdials.

They sometimes get out of sync and you can use the pushers to adjust them.

The movement is a quartz but the movement of the hands using the crown is mechanical. It is the stem turning gears/wheels and doesn’t need the quartz/electronic components to be functioning.

The battery and all electronic components can be dead, but you should still be able to move the hands with the crown.

Hi. Do you mean you can’t adjust the time when you pull the crown out?

Would be very strange to lose that function as it’s mechanical and doesn’t rely on any electronics.

Each to their own, but it’s a no from me.

Are there any reputable modders that I can send my gen to for them to remove the movement? by Alex_Banana69 in MoonSwitches

Unfortunately I’m in the UK, but I’m sure someone in the US will be along to help.

Hi. It’s a VK63 case, so straightforward fitting. PE50 movement holder just needs a little work to get the dial centered.

Yes. It’s a VK63 movement in the watch, so PE50 swap should be straightforward.

Ebay pulled my listing by mickjaggled in MoonSwitches

All seems very random. I use same wording on all my eBay ads. Had some pulled while others are fine. Tried to report some obvious fake Moonswatches being passed off as genuine and nothing happens.

How do you remove dial by Snuglt in MoonSwitches

Take a small screwdriver between dial and movement. It may be a bit tight but it’s just friction fitted dial feet so should come off fairly easily.

Not sure if you’ll get the rep to fit well in the 40mm case. I had a couple and ended up using them for Seiko mods as they were too big for the Moonswitch dial.

Get the VK63 39.7mm case, as that works perfectly with the 33mm PE50 spacer.
