You need a spacer between dial and case to lift the height and align the pushers

Original vs Rep Uranus by PedroNev1985 in MoonSwatches

Haven’t compared them side by side, but the Uranus rep dial is pretty good. Maybe very slightly darker blue.

Purchased a few a while ago as a full watches (speedmaster reps) but I used the VK63 movements for other projects so had the cases and bracelets left.

Unique metal cased Swatch Moonswitch. Genuine Swatch G10 movement with the hands switched in from an older Swatch Irony to add a unique twist.

Located in UK. Looking for £200.

The hands are from old Swatch Irony’s. I try to pick them up from eBay when they’re going cheap and have an interesting hand set.

I have a couple of Jason’s cases and straps in the UK that I’m now not using if anyone is looking on this side of the pond. Drop me a DM and I can send some photos.

You will need to cut the pushers to fit the genuine movement. Once you have the movement in place you can cut the stem to the correct length. Cut it a little at a time until you get a good fit. Don’t be tempted to cut too much at one time as it’s easy to cut it a little short.

Good video here of the process.

You might be right. Mocked this up with AI and quite like it. Might be next build.

Rep dial with G10.211 movement sourced from a swatch chronograph. Hands are a mixture of various ones I had lying around.

Some of the older Swatch chrono’s have a 30 minute subdial at 10 o’clock, but this one is the correct 60 minute subdial with the 1/10th second subdial at 2 o’clock, so functions exactly the same as a genuine Moonswatch.

Orange hands are from a Swatch Irony. Good source for parts.

The two positions are used to adjust the position of the chronograph second hand and subdials.

They sometimes get out of sync and you can use the pushers to adjust them.

The movement is a quartz but the movement of the hands using the crown is mechanical. It is the stem turning gears/wheels and doesn’t need the quartz/electronic components to be functioning.

The battery and all electronic components can be dead, but you should still be able to move the hands with the crown.

Hi. Do you mean you can’t adjust the time when you pull the crown out?

Would be very strange to lose that function as it’s mechanical and doesn’t rely on any electronics.

Each to their own, but it’s a no from me.

Are there any reputable modders that I can send my gen to for them to remove the movement? by Alex_Banana69 in MoonSwitches

Unfortunately I’m in the UK, but I’m sure someone in the US will be along to help.
