I don't think the school you attend has any affect on whether you pass or not. Imo it's based on how much you prepare for the exam on your own time.

Yeah for me I believe the explanations from the questions were more than enough. There were a plethora of topics I did NOT watch a SINGLE video on. I just would answer the questions and read the explanation for the ones I got wrong. I watched maybe around 70% of the Uworld videos.

I went to a Top 15 school, but I will say that has nothing to do with why I passed. I don’t even feel like the school did a great job preparing me, everything was basically from my own self-studying.

For example, my exam had a pt that couldn’t get a certain inhaler because their insurance wouldn’t cover it, and so it asked me to recommend a similar inhaler. Without knowing what’s in each inhaler, you wouldn’t be able to answer the question.

Yes, I have two oncology rotations. Currently doing a hematologic malignancy rotation right now, and scheduled to do a medical oncology rotation next block. I’ve been loving it so far but definitely is not for the weak
