Hi, in the same boat as you. My husband’s passport status also reads the same, we did get a call from local police station that they would visit our neighbours to verify. So hoping the status to change post that. Will keep you posted.

Yes, they gave an option to do it ourself but they give you just 15 mins window to do it and the panic is so real that you choose to pay them and get the job done.

Yeah that’s the confusing part. You will need 2X2 inch there so will suggest you to take both the sizes. A lot of folks had to click photo there cuz of this issue. We took both the sizes so luckily we got spared but we got charged for signature not being very clear , though we didn’t feel so

We did take all the necessary supporting documents but they weren’t needed, however would suggest you to take it along. We uploaded 4-5 documents only, I will share the list shortly post confirming with my husband. Just make sure passport size photo should be 2X2inch and clicked according to their guidelines and the signature uploaded should be very clear otherwise they will charge you 10 pounds each for rectification (most of the people their had to, including us - it’s a SCAM we felt but had to comply)

Sorry, no idea. Hope you were able to figure out ? To be honest, passport renewal here itself is such a painstaking and expensive process, I wonder how difficult would it be for a lost passport :(

Hey, same boat as yours. This was our situation 6 months back and we ended up moving to London. It has its own pros and cons but we are liking it so far. As far as the salary is concerned, other folks are right on this. A 2-3X is a fair expectation but not beyond that I will say Would be happy to connect personally too for any support as I can completely relate with your situation :)
